Chapter 10: Copying the Codex

Because of Rylan's appearance, the livestream room fell silent for a second.

"Yo yo yo, looks like the verdict is in on whether the streamer's food is good or not!"

"Still running your mouth here, bro! I already bought up the rest of the strawberries."

"Oh sh*t (a type of plant), that guy up there is way too sneaky."

"Seriously gone, all gone. I didn't get any, sob sob sob..."

Fana looked at Rylan's comment and flashed a satisfied smile. "Dear, the strawberry pudding giveaway is over. Please come back another day. Also, if the bet has a result, please fulfill your promise on your own."

Rylan was on the verge of tears, and the way he looked at Talia was even more painful.

This was the very thing that made him miss out on the food while also having to copy lines as punishment.

And Talia was completely oblivious. "Cousin, are there still strawberries? Let's buy another box."

From the introduction, both strawberry types seemed decent, but with only two plots of land, it was worth carefully considering how to plant them.

Later, after planting all three varieties once, Fana immediately had her answer.

Apart from being high-yield, the Frostwyn strawberry had little going for it. But Emberlyn was also prolific and incredibly tasty.

Emberlyn had high sweetness with just the right amount of tartness, giving a clean, sweet sensation on the first bite.

So Fana decided to focus on planting Emberlyn and Peachwyn.

Fana fought back a smile and clicked into his page. There they were, ten neatly handwritten copies of The Imperial Codex of Virtues, complete without a single missing word.

With those words, Fana truly forgave Rylan.

And Rylan breathed a sigh of relief. Ah, now he could happily and freely join the giveaways again.
