Greed is a powerful feeling that has changed the world over thousands of years. Science, religion, and magic have built a new era and there are some who want to end it all, for the sake of a dying world. It is only up to certain beings to awaken the world and cleanse the lurking evil within the desires of the current rulers, or to wipe out those who can't contribute any good to a new rising world.

Prologue
The beginning of everything is unknown for those who were not there to behold, but there will always be a glimpse of what could have happened for those who dare enough to wonder about it. Human beings have the ability to craft and build, but most importantly, to wonder. The limit of every single one of us is our own imagination.
The story I'm about to redact will be fictional, but every character will have relatable human traits and their lives will have different backgrounds. Their personalities will be connected to what they do. Feelings, ideas, and relationships will influence their skills, making them grow stronger or sink them in despair. however, please note this is my very first story so it might lack many features, I hope everyone understands that while reading,
Life and death are empty concepts without each other, just like the story would lose its meaning if the main purpose of it gets defeated by the lack of importance in a certain character or if a character takes more importance than it should, think about it while reading.
As a fair warning before continuing, I will be redacting certain grotesque scenes that could not be pleasant for many. I ask for the readers' discretion.

Chronos and Phill blacked out almost instantly after they hit the ground. the Dragon survived the explosion and the radiation seemed to have no effect on it. When everything seemed calmed the dragon went back to where it came from.Argos was destroyed but not all the population had the same deadly fate. Some of the villagers cried their losses and some others tried to rescue their belongings. Everyone was affected in some way or another. Despite the weight from his backpack and Nat, Chronos ran like if he was not carrying anything at all. Nat blacked out the moment Chronos picked her up and ran away, she was so mentally and emotionally broken she couldn't stay awake. Chronos tried to get to his settlement as fast as he could but the Destroyers were right before them.I need to find a place to hide before going back to the forest, but where?-Chronos thought while running. A few minutes later, heavy ammunition impacted the ground right next to him, shattering part of it almost instantly and making Chronos' escape more difficult. Then, in a matter of seconds, a Destroyer passed right in front of Chronos, blocking his route to the forest.No! "I'm Natasha by the way, but everyone calls me Nat and I am a Dwarf" -Nat said looking up to Chronos while walking towards a relatively ancient-looking shack. "You?" She asked. A Dwarf, that explains her stature-Chronos thought before answering. "I'm Chronos" -He replied. "I'm sorry for what happened back in the inn, I know Bernard since I have use of common sense and he likes to fool foreigners but lately the number of travelers has decreased and he has got barely income from his job. Anyway, you look like a foreigner, so let me tell you: some weird stuff has happened lately, a strange light appeared about a month ago and special teams from the government came many times to inspect the town asking for a dragon egg, don't you think it is weird? Some people were taken to the capital to be interrogated a week now" -Nat explained. "It is true, I'm a foreigner, and thanks for the information, Natasha" -C

I better make something to carry the egg and to keep it warm and safe-Chronos thought. By the time the blessing stopped emitting light and energy Chronos noticed some drones approaching the mountain. "This is bad..."-he muttered. "I have to hide the egg and hurry up to leave this place". Despite his age, Chronos was a very skilled hunter, he could also have the patience and precision enough to transform scales from DD into weapons and light armor to cover certain parts of his body. Everything he knew was thanks to the library which the collectors left when they were reduced to dust by DD. Chronos knew his parents were killed by DD, but he was not angry or sad, he just accepted it a long time ago; this helped him to have no troublesome thoughts while growing, his mind was clear and sharp. A while after, the drone inspected the zone, Chronos came out from his hiding spot and started to create a backpack big enough for the egg.
