Duncan

As soon as I was done with my speech and done pretending I gave a fuck about these people and not just their money and information and connection, I scanned the hall, looking for Anna. She'd just been here a minute ago and then she'd gone to the bathroom but she was still not out which had been fifteen minutes ago.

What was she still doing there and what was she about to tell me that was so urgent?

I walked past the crowd, ignoring everything in the crowd trying to get my attention.

I went straight for Troy, her bodyguard who was standing just outside the bathroom, checking his watch and glancing at the door every second.

"Where is Anna?" I questioned.

"In the bathroom, Boss,"

"How long has she been in there?" I demanded, worried, crowding my mind.

My wolf growled, already smelling that something was wrong.

"A couple of minutes,"

Something was wrong. I could actually feel it.

After about ten seconds, I grabbed the door knob and turned it, but it wouldn't budge.
