It almost felt like the walls had cave in on them, leaving them exposed to the harsh realities. Oliver wished he could take back the words he said, but that wasn't going to happen. The vision hadn't been a lie, and he needed to let his family understand that one truth.

He watched as his mother let go of his father's hand. There was shock written all over her face. He couldn't comprehend what she much be going through, and despite the pains he was trying in futility to mask, he wished he could make her feel much better.

"Tell me, who did you say is in danger?" His mom asked in a voice that sounded distant.

He made eye-contact with his dad, who looked like he was in triple pains. It felt completely awful to do this to people he cared about, but there wasn't much else he could do, but say the truth. His sister was in a complete danger, and they needed to get to her as soon as possible.

"Scarlett is in danger," He said once more.

A gasp escaped his mother's partly opened lips. "No! You're lying. Scarlett is fine. She is kicking, she is safe. My baby girl is safe. Nothing awful have happened to her. You just need to stop using your powers. Yes, that's it! You need to stop using your powers. I told you..."

"Mom! Please, stop," Oliver snapped annoyed.

"Why? Why should I stop? You're lying through your teeth. How can I stop then? Tell me," She snapped angrily.

Oliver watched his father struggle to stand. He placed a firm hand on his mom. He noted how tense she was, as she kept wiping off her tears. She didn't want to believe it, and it was so crazy. They couldn't waste time leaving in denial when his sister was in danger.

"My love, look at him. He is in serious pains. Don't you see how he was pulled up moments ago? He had been completely normal. I'm quite sure he knows what he is saying. That's his twin sister we're talking about. They are like needle and tread, completely interconnected. And, if he says she needs help, then she does," Oliver's dad said in a voice that left no room for argument.

Still, Skyler shrugged off his words, moving away from him and towards the overturned furniture. She kicked it, and cursed fluidly. Then, she hit her hands repeatedly on it. His father quickly grabbed a hold of her and shook her. Despite his pains, he would't take his wife hurting himself.

"Let go off me," Skyler snapped coldly,

"I can't. For once, you need to think rationally. If not for any of us, but yourself. Please, snap out of this delusion. Our daughter is in danger!"

"She is not!" She snapped, shaking her head vigorously. She looked at Oliver then, who wanted nothing more than to disappear under the covers. "You're the one who is in danger! You're trying to unlock your powers, using schemes. But, that wouldn't work for you. Do you understand?" She snapped.

Oliver placed both hands at either side of him, pulling himself upwards. He felt the muscles of his back protest, but he ignored it. He looked at his mom pointedly. "I wouldn't choke myself just for the fun of it. I'm not crazy, no matter how gifted I am. I'm telling you that Scarlett is in danger and we must save her," He choked out.

Shoving his dad out of the way, Skyler walked out of them. Oliver couldn't under why she was this stubborn. Yes, it was true that they were strange, and obviously not the type of children she had imagined, but it was getting too much now.

"Dad, you believe me right?" He mumbled dejectedly.

His father sighed heavily, as he looked at him. "Go to your room Oliver. There is nothing I can do."

"Why? Why can't you do anything? Tell me!" He screamed at his dad.

The man smiled sadly, as he walked over to his son. He placed a hand on his shoulders in a way to sooth. Oliver looked away annoyed. They were wasting precious time while his sister needed him. How could his father, a werewolf to the bone, be so weak?

"Your mother wants a normal life Oliver. Give her that. I know that your powers are trapped inside of you, wanting to escape, but you mustn't let it win. Your sister is fine where she is." Oliver opened his mouth to speak, but his father shook his head. The words died on his tongue immediately. "I will say one thing, I will figure out the truth about your claims. But, you mustn't do anything."

It felt like he had been knocked off, and he kept seeing his sister's anguish face. But, he sadly knew what he had to do. His father and mother weren't making it easy.

"You promise you will find out if Scarlett is fine?" He asked quietly,

His dad clasped his shoulder twice, and then said, "I promise."

They both looked at each other for a while. Each of them drowning in their own thoughts. Finally, his dad let go of him, and with a slight smile, he made his way out of the room, leaving Oliver feeling more dejected than ever in his 18years.

He slumped down on the tiles, and put his leg up his chin. The thought of shifting washed through his mind in waves, but he couldn't. If he did, he would lose control, and go over to the edge, like when he had gotten separated from his sister. Fuck!

'The pain is just like that!' He mumbled to himself.

It was the exact feeling of loss. Was Scarlett fine? It had been long he'd set eyes on her, but he didn't need a prophet to tell him she was the one he'd seen. He wished he could make it better. Oliver placed his hands on his chest, in a bid to pull his heart out. Fuck! It hurt like a bitch.

He grabbed a fistful of hair, twirling it around his finger. No! He couldn't stay like this. He needed to find her. She had asked him to find her. He needed to. He scrambled to his feet, almost ripping as he ran towards the door. His hands barely touched the door, as it sprang outwards, revealing someone he'd rather not see.

"Where are you running off to?" Eleanor queried, as she plucked her lips together.

"What do you want?" He grunted.

She softly pushed him back into the house, and closed the door behind her. "That's not a way to greet your friend, Olive. I was looking for you everywhere at school, but I couldn't find you. I actually imagined it was my imagination that I saw you at all." She whined, looking up the stairs.

"You didn't need to look for me. I'm sure you don't need me when you have so many vying for your attention. I need to leave," He said coldly.

She rose her perfectly shaped eyebrow at him, and Oliver couldn't get off the picture of her and Taylor out of his head. He felt betrayed, but what could he do about it? If he had said he knew about them, it would sprout questions. Questions that he was not ready to answer.

"Someone got his panties in a twist," She said with a smirk, tossing her hair over her shoulders. "And, I find that a bit adorable." She added.

Oliver pushed his hair backwards, gritting his teeth together. "I don't have time for this. I was on my way out."

She sashayed over to a seat, and plopped down on it with a flourish. "While I'm on my way in. Come on, don't be a bore," She scolded, tapping a spot beside her.

He thought about his sister, alone and worried. He thought about his parents still being in denial. His father's halfhearted promise rang in his ear. Maybe, he should actually sit and pretend like he had been doing all his life. His father had promised, and he would holden to that promise. He glared at Eleanor as he made a move to sit beside her. This was going to be a long day,
