Unpredictable Mate

I was beyond annoyed not knowing what my mate would do when she faced the cats and the witch. Ray would be easy to subdue by my alpha command. As I explained to Rain that I would end Talis the look on her beautiful face told me she had other plans. I had even used my alpha command on my mate knowing it wouldn’t work but I had to try and do all I can to protect her. If Talis killed her parents then he knew how to neutralize Rain and take her from me. That thought alone made my heart ache. That can never happen. I had just found her. She is mine! The mate bond was growing between us but I had a sinking feeling that Rain didn’t feel it the same or as strong as me because she wasn’t a wolf. I knew I would do what ever I had to if I wanted to keep her. I also knew I had to find out if anymore dragons roamed the earth. I wouldn’t claim her only to loose my mate later on to a dragon.
