Chapter 6: Who are you?

Who are you?

"He'll go somewhere, dearie. He'll just drop us at our destination. And also, we'll do some girl stuff, remember?" She said between her giggles.

"I could become a girl and join you two. It'll be fun." He teased.

"Heck, no. You'll ruin the fun."

"What a killjoy." I laughed at the both of them. They argue like dogs and cats and it's cute to look at.

Kuya Truce went silent as Ate July widens her eyes at him. It didn't stop him from teasing though and shrugged. "I suppose that it'll be more fun picking out the best place to have a honeymoon."

"Oh, shut up." Kuya and I laughed. Ate July is once again in a bad mood as she averted her gaze away from Kuya but it's evident that deep-inside, she's feeling the 'kilig' feeling.

You know, the weird feeling where your whole body just bursts to flames and your stomach twisting to knots. I'm also going to add the thing where girls would mostly do; squeak until their larynx would rip out of their throats.

I guess it's that kind of feeling. Never felt that though. It's just how many girls would mostly say to their best friends whenever they would see their crushes.

Even Josh would always tell me how he feels whenever he catches a glimpse of his crush and ask me if I had one but I never thought about it that much.

"Enjoy!" Kuya said as we went out of the car. We waved our hands at him as we watched his car gone into the busy roads and mixed into the mass of cars.

I looked around the city. A lot has changed. It's been ages since I went here. I live in a province so I can only come here once or twice a year when needed to.

Ate July wasted no time and grabbed me by the hand. We went to countless of places while doing some shopping.

We went to the cinema, beauty salon, we also did window shopping while looking around and trying to find some things to buy, eat here and eat there, playing lots of games at the arcade, buying ingredients and stuff at the supermarket, and lastly, we went to the boutique shop.

We tried on some few clothes but ended up buying a lot. Only me though. All of the clothes that she bought was all for me. She told me that I'll be staying with her for the whole three weeks so she bought a lot.

She bought me some underwear, dresses, tops and skirts, footwear, and other things that I'll be needing for my stay. I told her that it was quite a lot and that she should have told me before we left the house so I could pack my things that I'll be needing but she told me that she didn't mind so I thanked her anyway since I've got no choice but to accept it.

Ate July told me that Kuya Truce can't pick us up until he's done with his work so we decided to grab a taxi on the way home.

It was big. A mansion to be exact. Large golden gates that stood thrice my size and pretty flowers and plants surrounding the mansion everywhere.

We finally went in as we both slumped on the couch, feeling very exhausted.

"Wow. What a day." Ate said, breathless. I just nodded in agreement. Too tired to speak. "You should take a nap, dearie. Don't worry, I'll take care of this."

"Are you sure, Ate?"

"Of course." She smiled at me. I let out a deep sigh as I close my eyes and fell into a deep slumber.

I was awoken by a sudden call. I glanced at my phone and saw Ate July's name on it and so I answered. "Hello, Ate?"

"I'm glad that you're awake, dearie. How's your sleep?"

"It's fine. Why did you call, Ate? Where are you?" I stood up in a panic as I scan the house, looking for Ate July.

"Truce came, saying that there's a problem so I went with him. But don't worry, we'll come home as soon as we fix this mess." I sighed in relief.

"I'm sorry if I didn't wake you up. You were very tired so I didn't get the chance to tell you." She said sincerely and sounded apologetic on the phone.

"It's okay, Ate. I understand."

"Oh! And one more thing," She paused for a moment and continued.

"I'm sure that we'll come home late so you can sleep in the master bedroom. Your things are in there. And also, I just remembered that I didn't buy you some pajamas so you can borrow some clothes. It's in the closet in the master's bedroom. Goodnight!" And with that, she ended the call.

I looked at the time on my phone and it's already 9 in the evening. "Oh, it's already this late." I yawned and decided to walk upstairs.

As I walk inside the room, my jaws dropped. WOW. It's a fricckin' king-sized bed! I have never seen beds this huge. My bed isn't even close! Welp, it's a first. I walked around the room in awe and saw the closet that Ate July mentioned. A walk-in closet.

I opened the closet and saw a lot of clothes that are neatly folded into place. I looked for some women's clothes but I saw none. All are men's clothes. Isn't this Ate July and Kuya Truce's room?

Oh well.

I got an oversized shirt from the closet and other stuff from the things that we bought earlier and went inside the comfort room.

I walked out, already dressed, and looked at myself on the full-length mirror. The shirt was hanging loosely just below my knee and it was big. I even looked much smaller with it but it isn't that bad.

I was about to climb on the bed and take my beauty rest when I heard a rustling sound in the living room.

Who could that be? Maybe they're here already?

I went down the stairs to check it out. It was dark and I couldn't see shit. The only light guiding me was coming from the full moon.

I walked quietly as my eyes scan around but saw no one. Am I imagining things?

I took a step back and stopped when I hit something. I slowly turned around, lifting my gaze on the man towering above me. His dangerous and empty green emerald eyes looked down on me as he spoke in a cold, smoky voice that sent shivers down my spine.

"Who are you?"
