“So, will you sell the design to Paragon fashion house?”

I nodded, not thinking twice about it. If this really clicks, then it'll be my first ever sales.

“I'm offering a million dollars for it. Is that fine with you?”

I froze, and my eyes widened. A million fucking what?

I pinched the skin under my dress, perhaps this was a dream, but I felt the sting. A reminder that this was no dream. This was a damn reality.

“I know you are new to this, so I will put you through…” he paused. “We pay our artist for each design that they sketch, and this depends on the market value. We pay royalties to the artist as long as the pay keeps coming in, but this will be a one-time payment, since it's an exclusive wedding dress for my client.”

He explained, and I could only mouthed a ‘wow’.

The artist must be wealthy. I mean, Paragon fashion house is one of the top fashion companies, making at least fifty million in a month.
