‘Had a nice time with Viktor’.

I woke up to Susanne's text first thing in the morning as soon as I woke up. Attached to the text was a two minutes long video.

‘Hey! You lost, and I won't’.

The first thing I saw when I opened the video was Viktor and Susanne playing a ludo game together, laughing and throwing jokes at each other.

My grip tightened around my phone, and my jaw tightened. Something stirred inside me… not anger… not jealousy, but I sure as hell felt something sharp and bitter clawing at my chest.

Then it got to the part. Where they both kissed, and that was it.

I scoffed. I knew it. All this time that he was trying to play nice with me, he has always been playing games. He never meant any of the things he said and did.

Not that he could fool me, anyway.
