She believed his poisonous words were enough to flame her to death and be killed. He doesn't need to use a so-called real poison for her to die.
His words are more lethal than this real one.
"So, everything you did for me was fake. All of your love was fake."
"O-Our…."
"Our m-mate." Her heart shattered.
"Mate bond was fake." She almost got choked in the middle; her throat dried with heavy dealt.
"Yes, It's all fake, darling." He says sternly," For the thing mate bond, Yes, I accept, I attracted to you, but the bond is a little thing for me when it's come to Power. And one more thing, I should agree, you are a great bed partner."
Her bloodshot eyes squinted in death; her palm gripped, ready to gouge her nails into her own flesh.
"You know...."
"I often considered abandoning my plan to kill you and staying with you happily."
"But you are too kind and foolish for me." His voice was harsher, "The way you looked at me, all I can witness, pitiful eyes for me and my position over my parents lost."
"You and your family looked at me sympathetically; I hate that to the core! You all think you are greater than me!"
"It's not true!" She protested with a shake of her head.
"Shut up, you bitch!" He lost his temper and mocked, "What do you think? I can't see or hear what you all come to say about me. You all think I'm a loser and need you all!"
"We would never think that!" Her teeth greeted together.
"You all did! And stop baffling me in the middle of my words!" His jaw tightened.
"Jamil, You know, you are wrong." She choked on blood.
"Just shut up! Layla, If you want to die quietly!" His eyes turned warning.
However, Layla loses her mind control and shouts, "Jamil, If I know, you are a monster in human form. I never even glanced at you!"
His brows twisted, and he suddenly laughed creepily, "Oh, never, dear! Don't say that. Because I need to thank you for this, only one thing, which I adore. Our mate bond."
Her eyes darted to hear that.
"I swear, It's a marvellous thing I could ever get or wished for!"
"Because if it's not for you and this mate bond, I would never devise and achieve the grand plan.
"I will always be treated as a common werewolf. I need to stay weak my whole life and bow my head in front of others. I will not get this Power and position!" He opened his arms proudly and looked at her with a demonic expression, "I, Jamil, will never be the Alpha who everyone respected. Do you now get it, Layla?" His voice became louder and echoed over the room.
'"It means…."
"You…." Her breath hitched, "You married me to take my father's position one day and be Alpha…." Her heart was crushed to discover that.
"Yes, You are right." He grins.
"How?" the tears streaming down her cheeks, "How could you be so evil, Jamil?" she clutched her palm, her mouth gritted, "How could you kill your mate and baby for just being Alpha?"
"You are an evil monster! Jamil!" she curses him.
However, her words unaffected him, and he shook his head and answered with a creepy smile, "Oh no, Layla, don't declare me a monster right now. My cruelty has not even begun yet. You did not hear a complete story of my side."
"Do you still have left something to tell me?" She gritted her teeth in anger and agony, which flowed through her body.
Jamil corner lips raised in arrogance to hear her, "Oh yes, there is still so much, darling."
"And as you are now dying, I want to be a good husband for you the last time and share all my evil secrets with you."
Her bloodshot eyes sharpened; she wanted to kill the man before her but could only stay powerless and hear his betrayal story. She is relieved; the poison will soon take her life to stop getting tortured by his cruel tale.
After facing betrayal by her mate, she doesn't want to stay alive anymore. Her heart feels dead, too. It's not beating any longer for her. Her soul is dead anyway, so letting her body die is no issue for her now.
Most importantly, even though she stays alive, no one is around her after this betrayal. As her family already died, she can also be dead and join them in heaven.
"Layla, don't you want to know how I get so hungry for this power?" His eyes turned serious as his voice turned sour, "After my parent's death, my relatives and their children everyone bullied me; they treated me like shit! I was like a coward, pathetic wolf for them to beat every night."
"I need to stay hungry or eat rotten food. They beat me and used me for their entertainment. My pain for them is like fun. The more I scared, the more they feel powerful and enjoyed."
His expression turned icier as he talked, and his surroundings filled with a killing aura.
"Whenever I tried to argue, they locked me for a week or more. I always thought I would die pathetic."
"However…." His harsh expression turned calm in a flash.
"I never imagined in my dream it would come to an end one day. I can stop being bullied and be powerful. That, one day! I can kill all of them and get my revenge!" He raised his hand and curled up the palm to show his victory sign to her.
"And all it happens, just because of you!" His eyes find her, "When I meet you and realise what I can get!"
Her eyelashes flickered with hurt.
"I get to know how foolish you are to fall for me at first sight."
"Layla Gomez, the most powerful Alpha's elder daughter, fell for a man like me. Without even a second hesitation."
Her chest tightened. The blood rushed through her veins.
"I know, from that moment, you were the girl who got me a great position. You will be my great player to win the check-mate game."
"I know; I need you for that Alpha seat for me. But I was worried about who will be your mate. But as you know, the moon god solved that problem for me when you came turn out to be my mate." He laughed in pride, enough to dig a hole in her heart, "I was over the moon that night."
"I felt the moon goddess truly blessed me that night."
Each word increased her hatred for him.
"I know; god paid me for acting up to be kind and soft. The fake affection I poured on you and your family in order to gain their trust."."
"However, I thought, I must lick your family's feet for long years. Before they handed you the Alpha position."
"But, guess what? I got my chance when our rival Ravan Pack attacked our territory."
"I seized my opportunity at that moment."
Her eyes blazed with flare; this was the attack where she lost everything: her family and siblings, "What you did, Jamil!" Her blood was boiling as she suspected he had anything to do with her family's demise.
"Nothing big, Layla; I took that chance to kill your family while shaking friendship hands with Ravan Pack."
After Layla left, her mother sent both kids to their rooms as soon as they were done eating.Once Martin was alone with Layla's parents, he chose this time to get some information about Layla from them."Alpha Martin, I hope you like my wife's cooked meal." Luke surveyed."Yes, It's delicious." Martin smiled modestly and, after giving a little thought, he further added, "I could guess your kids loved the home-cooked meals more."Hearing him, they were delighted.Rosy responded first, "Yes, all of my kids love home cooking, but our oldest daughter is really into it." "I see." His eyes squeezed, making a moon, "Then she should be your favourite.""Ha ha!" "I can't deny that." Rosy chuckled with a good laugh, "She is a good daughter and great big sister." "She is our lovely daughter." Luke could not help but press his daughter as well. "You got a lovely family, Alpha Luke; I can see that." Martin asserted. Luke nodded and stared in his wife's direction, holding her hand, "Yes, I'm
When her mind was loading with all her past thoughts, Rosy's hand touched her shoulder and called her to return to her current mind. "Layla," "Huh?" She abruptly turned and glanced at her mother, "Y-Yes, Mom.""What happened? You did not eat," Rosy slowly whispered, not disturbing others' meals.Layla remembered they were already at the dinner table. She noticed her untouched food and returned her sight to her mother, "Sorry, Mom. I was just thinking something."Rosy sighed with a small smile, "Alright, but now first finish your meal. Don't forget we had gusset tonight.""Yes, Mom," Layla nodded with an awkward smile as the gusset was Martin, just sitting in front of her behind the table. She did not want to look at him, so her eyes never went in his direction. In contrast, her mother's gazed back to her own meal after having her answer.Layla started eating, shaking all her thoughts, when she suddenly sensed someone's intense eyes on her, and once her pupils moved from her food t
The Past Memory“You are mine, Little Wolf. I can’t wait to mark you.” The man with golden honey eyes captured her soul with those words after unexpectedly showing up one night before her 18th birthday and holding her captive in his strong arms when no one was there to guard her at the entrance of the forest. After dinner with family and gusset, Lyala casually came for a simple walk in alone, but who knows, Alpha Martin, his father’s gusset, suddenly appeared in front of her and held her as his. Layla almost brick in shock at his sudden claim as she retreated from his capture, nervously pushing his chest with all her strength before responding with a tremble and angry voice, “Alpha Martin! How dare you to touch me?”However, not getting angry at her pushing, he calmly maintained his strong posture and met her gorgeous brown eyes, “Why? Can’t I touch my soon-to-be mate?” “What?” Her eyes screwed with a frown. His powerful words, which came out from his mouth, made her body shaken to
Principle Office"Lyala, if our Alpha give you permission to focus on your training, there is no need for further approval. I have no issue with your study online and attending exams as per placed." The Principal stared at Lyala with a small smile, who was sitting in the across chair with a quiet, calm expression on her face all the time.Once she heard him, her corner lips finally raised with delight, "Thank you, Sir, for understanding this. I don't skip studying. I promise you that." Her mind relaxed to get the approval, so she assured him with her words. "That's fine, Layla.""I trust you and, most importantly, Our Alpha, who give his approval to you.""And even if you are not Alpha's daughter. I still think I will give you approval on the basis of your student record. You are our brilliant student anyway." He happily stated, which made her return the smile in the same way before lightly bowing and leaving the cabin with a delighted heart. 'Now, I can fully be focused on my physi
"Welcome home, Sweetie." Rosy kissed Lyala's cheek and smiled warmly. Layla returned the smile as her eyes moved around the house and interrogated her mother, "Mom, where are my cute pups?" She's asking about her siblings."They both went to their friend's birthday. Your father will go to get them after dinner." "I see." Layla nodded in understanding and sat on the couch when Rosy came beside her and took a seat. "So, how was your training?" Hearing the question, her mind thought about Jamil's ghastly reaction after losing him before she finally smirked, "It was great. More than I thought." "That's relief." "I guess your dad and I were just unknowingly concerned about your training." "That's true." Layla beamed, which made her Mom do the same. "What's happening here? Are you two both joking without me?" Luke came out of his room and stared at them in curiosity."Yes, and you are not invited on it." Rosy teasingly answered, which made Layla lightly laugh while Luke raised his b
It had almost gone dark when the match was finally over between them. Layla gave him a hand to stand back; even though Jamil felt humiliated and angry because of this defence, he still managed to mask his disdain and smile lightly, taking her help. As he stood back, she tried to mask her satisfaction and happiness for winning her first small duet against him by blinking her eyes in unease, then adopted a fretted expression in front of him before confirming his condition by interrogating, "Jamil, did you get hurt anywhere seriously? How about going to the doctor?" He gazed at her expression, which looked seriously worried for him, but somehow, he found her displeasing after this duel and instantly covered his words with a lie, "No, I'm fine. This small fight can't injure me." He wanted to prove his strength still, and seeing that, she could only ridicule with a smile, "That's true, I guess; I just got lucky today." "I don't mean that." Jamil was satisfied with her last statement an
