2 . Reborn

" Cough , cough ,cough " Suddenly she can breath again . She wants to open her eyes but she scared to see what will appear infront her . She scare she will face a fire .

" Eli baby , daddy's here . Open your eyes baby." She heard her father's voice and she open her eyes as quickly as she can .

" Daddy ... daddy I miss you ." She sit and her her daddy that sit beside her .

" It's okay baby . You are save now . You are so silly to try to save the man . You yourself don't know how to swim and you were almost drown . " Her daddy said .

So she was born , she went back to when she was only 19 and she was almost drown when she saved a young man in the river . She remember the young man's car speed into the river and she jump into the river to save him and when she helped the unconscious man to the surface she had a cramp on her leg and someone grab the man while she left behind and she faint from lacking the oxigent .

She still remember her stepmother said the young man is a bad man and because she was scared she didn't want to see his family but a year later she found out the man comes from a rich family .She didn't knew what had her stepmother said to the family that later one of her bestfriend that relative of the man's family told her that her family get few big projects from the man's family as a payment for saving his life . Her friend also said the man is actually a president of the biggest enterprise in the country and he develop his company in his first year in the university with his friends .

Now she remember it must be her stepmother that had a deal with the family and the man's family must had thought that his family is a leech that leeching their family wealth . As she still remember once she met the man in a business party with her friend and she show to her the man. She smile to him but the man didn't even look at her or maybe he forgot her . After that she never attend any business party and her father always go to the business party with her stepmother and her stepsister. Since then she become the mysterious Wong's gigantic company's vice president .

She never attend a meeting with the customer . Any meetings was always attend by her assistant and her bestfriend as her right hand assistant or her father . People always known she will only can be seen in the company or in the project field . Sometimes people can see her doing work with the workers and sometimes people can see her in the orphanage doing a volunteer work as people recognise her assistant .

Now she went back to the day when she met the man and a week before she register for the university . She suddenly wants to change her course . In her previous life , she enterd the business management class because she was told by her stepmother that she will have to take over the bussines from her father infact she knew know her stepmother wants to control the company by using her as her pawn . She knew one of her male cousin that is her second uncle's son is a very good businessman but because she used to listen to her stepmother , she push him until he step out from the company and build his own small company with their grandfather's help .

" Daddy , I want to change my course . I want to become a doctor so I can take care mom's hospital when I had graduate . I don't want to work in the company . I want to be like mom. Helping people and cure their sickness ." Elina said slowly with her pitiful voice . She knew all this time her father wants her to study to become a doctor like her late mother but she was to stubborn under her stepmother persuasion to take over the company .

Her request make her father shocks. He had coaxed her so many times to change her course before she enter the university but she was always stick to her desicion . He just don't want her to involved in the bussines struggle world and he was afraid she will be used by someone to control the Wong's company as she is a gentle girl with a kind heart like his loving late wife .

" Of course baby . You can change to any course you like . Daddy will always support your choice because daddy loves you the most and want you to have the best ." Edmund Wong said gently as he watch the smile appears on his daughter's lips .

The smile is so similar with his late wife's smile .

" Daddy , thank you and daddy I love you too." Elina said as she put her head on her daddy's broad chest .

" Daddy , I know you love mom so much and I know you married with aunt Jenny because grandmother want someone to look after me and aunt Jenny is her best friend's daughter . So daddy I never blame you . I know you still love mom and I know after the night of your marriage with aunt Jenny you had slept in a different room . I know you still have mom's belonging in your room and you never let aunt Jenny to enter your room except nanny Lily to clean the room .You still missed mom so much don't you . I know daddy , so I've never blame you . " Elina said softly to him .

"I know baby , I know ." Edmund Wong hugged her daughter tightly because he knew something had bother her and he wants her to know that she will always had him with her .
