The (Fake) Wedding Ceremony!

Leon waited for her to sign the documents. Cora still hesitated. She was already aware that there's nothing she can do except to live the new life she has been given.

She can't remember any of Mrs Cora real memory but, she'll build a new one, even if Bellamy isn't with her. She already know how she suffered with her weak body and lost her title as the heir.

'Mrs Cora, I'll make sure I live the best life for us' she thought to herself. She leaned forward and signed the paper.

"Here you go Leon. I'll gladly wait for our wedding day. My regards to my husband" she squinted her eyes and left.

Leon was still confused. He noticed that wasn't how Cora normally acted. She was composed and silent but sometimes, she would go crazy.

'Maybe her lost memory is a good thing' he muttered to himself.

.

.

Even as the wedding approached, Cora still didn't see Bellamy. She hasn't even been able to open her phone since it's not hers. She can't remember the password. There has been tons of text messages but no one called her, not even her parents.

Of course, they sold her off to Bellamy to save their huge business.

Out of boredom, Cora sat by the balcony trying different patterns to unlock the phone.

"Ma'am Cora, is it okay for you to keep drinking?" The maid standing close to her asked. Cora smiled at her.

"It's fine. I'm not longer sick. I wish to enjoy myself for now"

"But that's your third bottle. I need you to be awake to try on your wedding dress once it arrives this evening" she said.

"Jane?" Cora called her name. The maid flinched and stood upright, gripping the bottle of champagne.

"Yes ma'am Cora!"

"How long have you known me for?" She suddenly asked.

"Since you were twelve, my lady" Jane replied.

Cora smirked.

"Do you have any idea why my family hasn't contacted me since I woke up from the dead?"

"You personally told them not to call you and you cut them off. You were furious after you were brought to the Brooks mansion" she explained.

"I see" was Cora's response. She did a U curve on the pattern and the phone unlocked.

"Wow, it was a simple curve" she spoke to herself.

"Thanks Jane, you may leave"

Jane bowed and left.

Cora went through the phone and found nothing useful. All she found was some love message from someone named Blake. She thought it was a mere crush but Cora's response to him made it seem like it was a childish message.

Cora kept the phone and leaned back on the chair.

"The wedding is tomorrow, I'll get to see Bellamy. I wonder how he has been. He has changed after my death" Cora muttered, referring to her death as Natalia's death.

.

.

The day came swiftly. Cora had an hangover that morning due to the excess wine. After curing her headache, she got dressed. The wedding gown was bought by Bellamy.

It was an armless gown with long lace gloves. They are really beautiful, together with the veil.

She wore a sparkling crystal shoe that had real crystal on them. The gown was also embedded with real jewelries. Her make up was simple but made her like a real princess.

Cora stared at her reflection.

"Mrs Cora is really beautiful" she spoke.

"Of course, you are beautiful, Mrs Cora" Jane reminded her she was Cora.

"Ah, yes!"

There was a soft knock.

"The car has arrived, my lady"

"I'll be there soon" she yelled.

She checked herself on more time and grabbed her purse and phone. She slowly walked down the stairs, careful not to trip.

She arrived outside and saw the limo waiting for her. She doesn't even have a chief bride... that's what she was thinking till she saw some girls in the limo, wearing the same outfit.

"Good morning, Madam Cora. Congratulations!" They cheered and clapped.

"Um, thank you" Cora faked a smile.

"I had no idea you were this loved by Mr Bellamy. I'm honoured to meet you"

"Me too, Madam Cora. He paid our rich family to become your brides maid"

"I wish I were you, Madam Cora"

Cora was feeling guilty because she was a fake but she kept on acting.

After few hours of driving, they arrived at the huge venue. The exterior design was screaming money.

Cora frowned secretly. She has no idea why Bellamy have to put up an act in front of the entire world when he's a monster.

Her bridesmaids escorted her to the main door where her father was waiting.

"Oh, honey!" Her father squeezed his face like he was about to cry.

'So, this is Mrs Cora's father, the owner of Rainbow enterprise'

"Hi dad" she greeted. The man started shedding tears.

"It's been ten years since you called me dad. This is really the best day of my life. Come on, let's go in already" he said. The ladies already sneaked in through another entrance.

The huge front entrance is for her and her father.

'Behind this huge door is Bellamy, will he be happy to see me?' Cora thought.

"Come on, honey. Let's go!" He said. The door opened and she suddenly walked in, slowly with her beautiful gown and white flower. The veil covered her face well. She heard people talking about how expensive her dress was. It was limited edition with only two of them in the whole world. She almost coughed out when she heard the price.

Gently, she raised her head and stared at Bellamy's face through the veil. He was wearing a weird smile. He was really good with covering his real face with a smile.

"Take care of my daughter, Mr Bellamy"

Her father said, placing her hand over Bellamy's.

"I will, father in law" he said, with a soft and different voice. He walked towards the alter with Cora and the ceremony started.

Bellamy was boiling with anger here. All he wished for was Cora to die from her sickness so he would marry Natalia but it happened the other way round. He was even more furious since he hasn't found the culprit yet. He read the vow to her, facing each other. Her voice was soft, yet annoying as she vowed to love him till death do them apart.

"Will you, Bellamy A. Brooks, take this woman Cora Sinclair as your lovely wedded wife?" The priest asked.

"I do" he responded. Everyone started clapping their hands. The camera light almost blinded him.

"Will you, Cora Sinclair, take this man, Bellamy A. Brooks as your lovely wedded husband?" The priest asked again.

"I..I do" she spoke.

They clapped again. The priest closed the book he was holding.

"You may lift up her veil and kiss your bride" he said. A lot of people brought out their phone to capture the moment. Bellamy raised her veil and saw her face. He flinched at that moment. The last time he saw her, she was so weak on the death bed but now, she's looking more beautiful.

"You don't have to, if you don't want" she spoke. Bellamy frowned.

"Shut up" he whispered and leaned forward, pushing his lips to hers. As they kissed for seconds, till he pulled back. Everyone clapped. Cora faked a smile, just like Bellamy.

The wedding ceremony continued. After Cora changed into something more comfortable, she stood by the bar, holding a glass of champagne.

"Sister Cora!" Someone ran to her. Cora remembered the face. It was the person on her home screen.

"Oh honey, I heard you lost your memory. I'm your mother" her mother spoke. Cora smiled.

"Yes mom. Of course, I remember you"

"It's me, your younger sister, Zara. I'm so happy that you're alive, sister" Zara spoke but Cora could sense the lie in her words. She just faked a smile and hugged her sister.

"Is Bellamy treating you well?" Her mother asked.

Cora looked forward and saw him a little bit distanced from where she was standing. He could really hear what they were talking about.

"Of course, he personally massaged my legs yesterday before our wedding" She lied.

She heard someone coughing and saw it was him. He choked on his champagne because of the lie she made.

"Bellamy is such a nice person. He loves his wife so much. I hope you two stay happy together"

"Yes, my child. If you ever need anything, come to us. Our business is back to where is it before"

"Your gifts are in your car. I hope you get well soon" Zara uttered.

Cora sensed the insincerity in her voice, but she can't tell them she has been cured of her cancer.

They left her standing there on her own again.

"Oh... Cora!" She heard another voice and secretly rolled her eyes. She remembered his face. He's the person always writing love letter to her.

"Hey, Blake" she raised her glass of champagne.

"Don't think I'm going to congratulate you, sweetheart. I'm still going to make you mine" he whispered to her.

"Are you kidding or it's for real?" Cora asked. He drew closer to her and kissed her left ear.

"Don't forget, you belong to me, cousin! Enjoy yourself why you can" he took the glass from her and left.

Cora stood there dumbfounded. It was then she finally noticed she had no friends at all.

"I see that the weirdo is still obsessed with you" Bellamy handed her another glass. She hesitated before she took it.

"We are in public, according to our contract, we have to act lovey-dovey" he whispered.

Cora smirked and leaned forward, placing her head on his chest.

He flinched and shook at her sudden touch.

"What are you doing?" He frowned.

"I'm doing my part as your wife. According to the contract..." She had an evil smirk on her face.
