Raine's POV

While we wait for the head of the union, I asked the employees to bring us some food. "So the ruthless and unstoppable queen was really scary, huh?" Jillian said, which made me laugh.

"Not really. I just dislike when people use their position to make others doubt themselves or how they live their lives. We all have our own status and pace, and that should be respected," I whispered. Jillian nodded and smiled.

After waiting for five minutes, the man I had been expecting was sent by one of the staff. I greeted him with a smile before he closed the door.
