STOLEN PORTFOLIO

A week has passed since we had a meeting about evaluation and so far nothing has happened.

I guess Killian is playing fair.

The day is going good so far that I'm planning to go on a date with Chris. I have designed our rings but haven't shown them to Chris. I even hid them in my bedside drawer.

Right now I'm designing a bracelet. Its a ruby based bracelet. it has pink pearls around each ruby and I'm thinking of maybe adding charms.

I was so lost in my little design that I didn't hear anyone calling me.

" Kimberly!"

My head snaps up and behold, Killian is here.

"what can I do for you Killian? and it better be good."

" Give me one of your designs as compensation for cheating on me."

"Hahaha" I let out a sharp laugh at his words. When he continues being silent, I stop laughing and look at him closely.

"Wait you are being serious?" What in the ever loving F**k is this man smoking?

"I'm letting you stay married to my brother even though you are technically my girlfriend still. So yes Kimberly, I demand a compensation for wasting my college years on you."

I never thought people would be this audacious.

"No Killian, I am not going to give you any compensation. I was never yours. You were the one who approached me. I never ever asked you to go after me so if you are done with your rubbish you can leave. "

He smiles. Not the calm smile either, it's the cruel one he used on me when I was floating above my body in my past life.

instinctively I shrink inwards and like a predator he definitely caught that movement. He stalks towards me and leans in.

" You see Kim I was not asking for permission. You owe me your life. You owe Vivian everything you have. I made you what you are and now I'm here to collect my reward. So hand it over or you my darling Kimberly are going to be sorry for ever refusing me."

I shook my head even though I was trembling like a leaf.

Without any warning, his hand came to my throat and began squeezing hard. The hand that was resting on the portfolio let go and I tried to pry him off my throat.

I knew that the moment the portfolio was on the open he was not going to let it go. While I was still coughing and wheezing from him strangling me he snatched it and leisurely flipped through it.

When he clearly found what he wanted he let go of me and tore pages from my portfolio. I crumbled to the floor and clawed at my throat. It was more like I was caught in a bad memory loop.

" Stop being dramatic Kim it was just a little choke if you can't handle it maybe you should play with people in your own league." his voice fates as he talks and the last thing I hear before I black out is someone shouting my name and shaking me
