"Don't worry, Alpha Evan," Rosh tried to reassure me, his words laced with a sense of assurance. "She's going to be just fine. If she managed to slip into our pack's territory without us noticing, then she must be strong. Our security is the strongest around, but she still made her way in, which is no small feat."

I knew he was right. Our pack boasted impenetrable borders, and for twenty long years, we hadn't faced any attacks from rogues or any other threats. My father made sure we were well-guarded after the passing of my grandparents, and we remained vigilant ever since.

However, the sight of this young girl, clearly a rogue, who had managed to infiltrate our territory unnoticed, exposed a vulnerability we hadn't seen in twenty years.

"Are you happy about this, Evan?" My wolf questioned.

"Happiness isn't the emotion I'm feeling right now," I replied, my concern evident. "It's not every day that someone can trespass into our territory without a trace. I can't help
