The next morning, I quickly got myself ready. I woke up at exactly five o'clock in the morning. I had only gotten two hours of sleep after what happened between Luther and me.

And I was right! Allen didn't even bother looking for me last night.

In my past life, they admitted that on our wedding night, the two of them were together. And now, my life with him was playing out the exact same way. The only difference this time was that I wasn't alone on what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life.

I was in the arms of the man I knew cared for me. Even though I didn't yet know the deepest reason for Luther's intense grief over my death back then... I didn't care. All I knew was that I needed him by my side.

I didn't waste any time entering our marital bedroom; now was not the time to expose their secret. So, I had my clothes fetched from my storage room instead. That was where I piled up the things I rarely used, including some clothes mixed in that Allen didn't want me to wear because he claimed they were too revealing.

Later on, I discovered the real reason—Luisa didn't want me wearing my beautiful, expensive clothes because I outshone her. That was why back then, I mostly owned simple, below-the-knee dresses. I was never able to wear sexy dresses once Allen and I became husband and wife.

But now, I won't buy their excuses anymore. I will wear whatever I want. I chose my red, V-neck, above-the-knee sexy dress. It perfectly hugged my chest, which Luisa envied so deeply. I tied my long, wavy brown hair into a ponytail to showcase my smooth skin, especially around the nape of my neck.

Putting on my red lipstick was not enough. I also sprayed myself several times with my most fragrant perfume, which Allen had also forced me to hide away in the storage room.

"This time, I'll make sure to survive," I told my reflection in the mirror.

It was almost eight in the morning when they started coming downstairs one by one. I was already at the dining table, starting to eat the eggs, hot dogs, bacon, and rice I had prepared. By my side was a coffee I made—less sweet, more milk.

"Honey, good morning," it was Allen. "Y-you woke up so early?"

He kissed me on the cheek. I didn't move, but I let him do it. He sat in the center chair of the dining table, while I sat to his right.

"Are you mad?" he asked, probably noticing my silence. "Sorry, I got too drunk last night. I couldn't handle it and ended up falling asleep in our room. I thought you were there, but when I woke up, you weren't. Did you sleep in the guest room?"

Hmm, you didn't waste any time looking for me because Luisa was there to serve you. "It's okay. I was just really tired last night too."

I said it softly, pairing it with a fake smile.

He stroked my hair and then started putting food on his plate. After a moment, he noticed what I was wearing and asked why I had it on when he had already forbidden it.

"I had nothing else to wear; the door to our room was locked. I didn't want to disturb you," I said. He swallowed hard, nodded, and didn't say another word. He knew that if he argued further, his secret might be exposed.

I was slicing the bacon on my plate when Luther arrived. As soon as he came down the stairs, he caught my eye. He was wearing a white undershirt layered with a black leather jacket, baggy pants, and a pair of black shoes.

Luther was thirty-four, physically fit, and neatly managed on the outside. He truly looked like a rockstar in his outfit.

"Good morning," he greeted, his eyes fixed on me.

"Morning, bro. Let's eat," Allen answered his brother.

Luther sat across from me. He started picking up some bread and bacon. I had deliberately timed this meal because I knew it was his favorite.

I glanced at Allen first before casting a look at Luther. My husband was busy cutting his food, so I was free to stare at Luther's face. And what I did next triggered Luther to look right back at me.

I slipped my foot out of my heel and reached for Luther's leg under the table. I teased him. I locked eyes with him as if it were just the two of us at the dining table.

He just stared back at me with absolute seriousness. I couldn't read what was running through Luther's mind; his eyes were dark and intense before he finally looked away.

Then, Luisa came down. My eyes narrowed when I noticed she was wearing my clothes. In my closet, that was the most beautiful dress I owned, one I barely wore just so it wouldn't fade easily.

"Good morning, bestie." I felt almost disgusted by the kiss she gave me, but I restrained myself and just smiled at her.

"I was looking for you, bestie," she said with a pout. "Anyway, is it okay? I borrowed your dress for now. I didn't bring a spare dress, you see."

I just stared at her. She was so plastic, fake, and ambiguous. As fake as the nose job she got using my credit card.

"Of course, it's okay. What are friends for? Besides, I'm used to you just taking whatever you want from me."

Just like how you took my husband.

The three of them sitting in front of me froze, especially Luisa. "What do you mean? Are you upset with what I did? I can just give it back—"

"Hon, what's wrong with you? Luisa is your best friend. You two have always borrowed each other's things, haven't you?"

I looked at Allen. Here he was again, subtly defending his mistress.

"What's wrong with you guys? You misinterpreted me. What I meant was, I know you so well. Even if you don't ask permission, I already get it. I'm used to it, and it's okay."

Luisa's expression shifted—from being bothered and looking like a frightened cat, she became calm and happy again. What she didn't know was that everything I said meant the exact opposite.

"I knew it. Thank you, bestie!" She even gave me a hug.

She then sat down next to Luther. I could see how she smiled nastily at him, as if she wanted to say, 'See? I can really fool Erin.'

"Oh, where are the maids? I need my coffee," Allen said, trying to call out toward the kitchen.

I had just set my glass of water down when he remembered that.

"I forgot to tell you—I fired all the maids, the driver, the gardener, and the maintenance staff. I only left the two security guards outside," I announced to them.

The shock in their eyes said it all, especially Allen's. He even shouted at me, asking why on earth I did that. He questioned it, asking who was going to take care of the house now.

But I wasn't intimidated by him; I maintained my composure.

Why would I keep anyone who would dare betray me in the end? I got rid of them because in my past life, their loyalty lay with my husband and his mistress.

They would only drag me down to my pit.

"Just let her be, Allen. You're married to my bestie now, so she has a say in this mansion too, right? I think Erin just wants to be a hands-on wife to you, that's why she did it." I held back a laugh at what Luisa said. Hands-on? What did she mean, that I planned to be an all-around maid in this house?

Is she crazy? She's the one who needs to be sent to the Mental hospital.

"Fine, just make sure we always have food, Hon. It's embarrassing in front of my brother, you know he's staying here with us," Allen said. He immediately agreed with Luisa, even though he had been angry with me just moments before.

"Yeah," was my only reply.

Eventually, Luther stood up and declared that he was going to make his own coffee. He didn't wait for our reply and just headed straight to the kitchen.

"This is so inconvenient. Go make me some coffee too, hon. I can't have my breakfast without coffee, you know that, right?" Allen asked.

At first, I just stared at him, but when I realized Luther was also in the kitchen, I complied with his order. The two of them were left there, and what would they do? It was just Allen's tactic to get me away from the dining table.

I found Luther waiting for his coffee to brew, just standing in front of the machine. I didn't bother him and grabbed a cup for Allen. He preferred brewed coffee too, but since the machine was occupied, I decided to just make him instant black coffee instead.

But in the middle of scooping the sugar, I felt Luther's warm body press against me from behind. He hugged me, burying his face in my neck.

"L-Luther? What are you doing? They might see us," I whispered, constantly glancing toward the hallway leading to the dining area.

"Why? You fired everyone, didn't you? And my brother? He won't come here, especially since he's with his mistress. They're probably working a miracle of their own over there right now," he whispered back.

I let out a soft groan when he kissed my neck. I closed my eyes and savored it.

"You're not resisting, Erin. Meaning, you're serious about what happened last night?" he asked, his voice low and incredibly sexy.

"I would never lie to you, Luther. The one thing I want you to do is trust me."

Luther breathed in the scent of my hair, rubbing his face against mine while his arms remained wrapped tightly around me. Soon, I arched my back as he pulled up the hem of my dress from behind.

"L-Luther, no!" I whispered, panicking a little at that moment. But when he whispered back telling me not to be afraid, I listened. I lost myself completely when I felt the rigid bulge of his shaft grinding against my backside.

From there, Luther pushed aside my small cloth down there to expose my entrance. Right after that, I gasped as his long, rock-hard length plunged deep inside me.

I gripped the edges of the countertop, my mouth open as he began to thrust rapidly from behind.

Soft whimpers escaped my lips as we stood there, and I covered my mouth in sheer nervousness that his brother might hear us.

"I'll come quick, Erin. I just want you for breakfast right now. But I promise to pleasure you more next time, okay?" He spoke so gently. His low, sweet voice was like music to my ears.

"O-okay, just do it quickly, Luther. Have me now, please."

Luther moved harder, fast, as if he were racing against time. I didn't know how many minutes he kept it up, but he was right—he really made it quick. Yet even so, he still hit the absolute best spot deep inside me.

He was quick, but I fucking loved it!

I was cherishing every moment, both of us catching our breath, when Allen's voice suddenly broke through.

"Hon?"
