IT WAS MONDAY.

Rose was driving back to City S. “Back to hell”, she thought with a hiss.

Seeking Steve's help proved futile, rather it increased her problem.

“Whoever bought Mr George shares didn't want anyone finding out his identity or did he really leave a puzzle for her to solve”, Rose wondered. “Why did the alibi sound oddly familiar?”.

Rose shook her head, “she should forget about it, she had more pressing matters to think about”, she thought scrunching her face.

IN CITY S, AT FASTTECH LIMITED

Rose entered the company with a serious expression on her face, as she headed to the elevator.

The workers greeted her with a bow as she passed by, which she totally ignored.

Getting into the elevator, pressing the floor to her office. Rose took in deep breaths, preparing herself for what was to come.

The elevator stopped, making a ding sound, the doors slid open. Rose walked out, expecting to see Nathaniel with an angry look outside her office but was surprised to find the guard pacing

She jerked at the sound of her name, clamping her legs shut and trapping Charles' hand between her thighs, letting out a quiet squeak. "Taylor, dear, are you alright?" Tiffany asked, casting her a worried glance. Kate nodded quickly, biting her lip, barely holding back a moan. Charles pried her legs apart again completely unfazed, cupping her sensitive spot, before slipping a finger inside her. She gripped her fork tightly, sneaking a glance at him. He had a neutral expression on his face, eating like he wasn't driving her insane under the table. Her eyes dropped to her plate. Was he trying to get them caught? Her body betrayed her completely, hips shifting towards him. Her walls clenched around his finger, just as he slid in a second one. A faint whimper escaped her throat. A wave of pleasure built in the pit of her stomachs, her thighs trembling slightly. She clung to the edge of the table for support, struggling to keep her expression neutral, while his fingers kep

It was just his mum and dad she was having dinner with, as his grandpa had gone out of the city for his monthly check-up, so he won’t be joining them. They stopped in front of the big wooden double doors, Kate felt her anxiety creeping back. “Ready?” Charles asked, glancing at her, his hand that held hers squeezed it in a supportive manner. She nodded, as she watched him raise his hand to ring the bell. The urge to tell him she wasn’t ready yet, just at the tip of her tongue when the door suddenly flung open revealing a beaming Stephanie. “Taylor darling”, she greeted enthusiastically, engulfing her in a hug, catching the latter by surprise. Charles stared at his mother with a baffled expression. “I'm here too mum”, he said but she ignored him. He walked further into the house seeing as he was ignored. Stephanie pulled away from the hug, not sparing her son a glance. “My darling, you look beautiful”, she praised. Kate blushed shily, “Thank you Mrs Donovan”. “Wha

“I still love him but I guess that’s all it’s gonna be”, she sighed dejectely, her gaze on Kate. “They say your first love is always hard to forget”. “Well she forgot about Kyle, probably because he was a d*ick”. “And why are you telling me this?” Kate asked, her eyebrows raised in confusion. “Because I figured out who you are?” Her breathing hitched, masking her uneasiness. “What do you mean?” "Taylor Cosgrove, CEO of TAC Limited. You came and stole the heart of every girl's dream guy in the city, Charles, you did something I couldn’t do and have been trying to for years, I’m jealous”. “You’re different from all the other women I have met and yet you remind me of someone I know”, She added with a displeased frown on her face, more at the person Kate reminded her of. “I won’t come in between you and Charles because honestly I still prefer you over his so-called fiancee”, she confessed with an eyeroll. “You mean Rose?” Ariana glanced at her phone, standing up not an

Kate walked out of the clinic, after bidding Agnes farewell, still in shock at what she had experienced. Her next session was in 2 weeks, as Agnes had advised her not to be in a hurry to remember, considering she had dissociative amnesia - she was able to calm down and explain everything in detail. Apparently, she had lost part of her memory due to a traumatic event, and was protecting herself from relieving those moments by locking her memories during that period. And something told her it had to do with the basement she found her teenage self in. She felt a chill run down her spine at the thought of the basement. She definitely wasn’t ready to go back there. Kate sighed, stopping beside her car, about to get in, when she spotted someone, she wished she didn’t see, their eyes locking unto each other. “What was she even doing here in this part of the city?”. Deciding to ignore the person already bending down to get into her car, when the person called out to her. “Taylo

The place was pitch black. “Great! Darkness again”, she muttered in annoyance. When she felt a sudden brightness blinding her eyes, shielding them with the back of her hand, her gaze turning to the floor. “Was that concrete?” Her eyebrows knitted in confusion, bending down to touch the ground, feeling the cold rough floor beneath her skin, slowly standing back up to look behind her, just in time to see the door vanishing. “No no no!” She screamed, running towards it, just as it vanished completely, her hand hitting a concrete wall instead. “Fuck!” Kate cursed, slamming her fist against the wall, as she turned to scan her surroundings. "Just great!" She sighed in annoyance. She was trapped in an empty basement. The only light illuminating the room was the dimly lit bulb hanging from the ceiling. Not even a sound echoed back to her. She doubted there was any real structure down there - the poor lighting didn’t allow much visibility afterall. Turning her head to her left

“Take deep calm breaths” Agnes instructed, snapping Kate out of her inner meltdown. Kate did as she was told, feeling a little more relaxed than before. “Good”, Agnes nodded satisfied, seeing as Kate had visibly relaxed better than before. She sat on the stool beside Kate. “So why are you here Taylor?” Kate entwined her fingers, going straight to the point. “To regain my memories, I read you’re the best psychologist in the city”. “I’m flattered Taylor, thank you”. Agnes replied with a smile. Her smile made her look more beautiful, and she was much younger than Kate expected. “Ohk. You’re here to get your memories back”. Kate gave a hesitant nod. “Was coming here a good idea. After all, there’s a reason why she didn’t remember”. “And what makes you think, you lost them in the first place?” Agnes asked, taking her out of her thoughts, as Kate lips thinned. She gave her a soft smile in reassurance. “I’ll need you to trust me Taylor, you don’t have to tell me sensit
