Alpha Kieran's POV

Not when the feast hadn't gone midway, I noticed how Raven was so carefree.

I made her sit next to me as my Luna, and I observed her more than anything else in that moment. Her laughter screamed ‘too freely’, too brightly for a night like this. And the way she made one of the maids sit beside her—a girl I didn’t recognize by her name but by her face—cut off something inside me.

And also I don't like the idea of my Luna close to a maid. They whispered and giggled more like sisters, almost acting all unaware of the atmosphere. Whatever joke they shared was wrapped in secrecy, only known to them and maybe the Moon Goddess herself. I had never seen Raven like this before. Never.

Not like I didn’t like it. She looked all stunning. But this wasn't how she had behaved in the past few days. She had been guarded, quiet, holding herself like a secret wrapped in layers of cold. Now she was glowing and relaxed? Almost too comfortable? That shift in demeanor set something off i

Selene’s POV.The corridor finally led me out into the wide stretch leading to the dining hall. My palms were still clammy, and the whispers of Raven’s screams haunting the back of my mind. I forced myself to walk steady, to blend in, to breathe as though nothing inside me was shattering. The taste of water still seemed to last longer than usual on my tongue as I walked past the dining hall, but it didn’t matter. Not just that, the smell of roasted meat and fresh bread lingered in the air, but it did nothing to settle me. My stomach churned, not with hunger, but with dread. And it just occurred to me that I haven't had anything to eat and it's almost 12noon. The fact is that food or drink—none of it could settle the storm inside me. I stepped into the hall, my eyes fixed on over a few guards hanging around at the far side. I noticed that they were murmuring low, but I caught pieces of their conversation.“…patrol routes doubled since the feast…”“…Alpha left at dawn…”That last line

  • Reborn as his Fated Luna   Chapter 33 – Memory clash.

Selene's POVThe first thing I noticed when I opened my eyes after the eventful night was the silence. Not the peaceful kind, not the kind that wraps around you like a soft blanket. No—this silence felt heavy, pressing against my ears and at the same time, crawling into my chest. I rolled onto my back and stared at Kieran’s bed like it was the first time I was seeing it, trying so hard to put things together in my head. I could remember that I slept in his chamber. All I observed was just the faint rustle of curtains shifting in the morning breeze.I sat up, pulling the blanket against my bare skin. The sunlight spilling through the tall windows should’ve felt warm, grounding, but it only made me more aware of the fact that the other side of the bed was cold and empty as Kieran was already gone. And my mind… my mind was slipping.I squeezed my eyes shut and tried to picture my camera—the one I carried everywhere, even on assignments I wasn’t supposed to. I could still feel its weight

  • Reborn as his Fated Luna   Chapter 32 – Raven, You Are So Sweet!

Alpha Kieran’s POVRight from the moment we got back to my chamber on my demand, then to the bathroom to have a bath, my eyes didn't leave Raven's body for a moment. She returned to the room ahead of me, wrapped tightly in a towel, her skin still glistening from the bathwater. I followed moments later, dragging a hand through my wet hair—but my eyes didn’t stay off her for long. She thought the mirror hid me well, that I was distracted with the towel, but the reflection betrayed us both. I watched her silhouette move beneath the blanket, and her hands fumbling with her clothes under the covers which seemed modest, shy or maybe scared. But that wasn’t what tugged at my chest. It was the way she avoided looking at me.Still, I couldn’t stop the heat in my gaze—the want I’d kept buried was now clawing its way to the surface. Every cell in my body was aware of her. Her scent, the dampness of her skin, even the sound of her breath as it caught when she noticed me watching her. My wolf grow

  • Reborn as his Fated Luna   Chapter 31 – Sweeter way more than I had envisaged.

Selene's POVAs soon as we got to his chamber on his request—because left for me, I would have gone to my chamber if he had allowed her to have her way.If not for anything, for the way I had felt frightened tonight at the end of the event with what just happened at the feast. All the while he never felt bad about anything, I know this who he is for real and to think I was expecting otherwise was indeed crazy.“You know that was a long evening, so I think we need to take our bath and then rest for the night. But of course, some foreplay wouldn't be a bad idea, because we will definitely have the night to ourselves.” He called me out of the slight reverie.I fully understood what he meant but there was nothing I could do if not to oblige.“It's fine, my Alpha.” Although I didn't know your exact reason, but I can remember he old me we would be making out on the full moon night. Though I said it like it was nothing but deep down I was kinda scared as I was still a virgin and thoughts of

  • Reborn as his Fated Luna   Chapter 29 – The irony of the Feast

Selene’s POVLetha nudged my elbow and whispered not loud enough for the next person to even hear her. “You look so excited tonight, my luna”“You can say that again Letha, thanks.” I replied, sipping my wine. I made sure that she sat next to me at the other side while Alpha Kieran sat at the other side. She grinned. “I mean it. You actually seem so relaxed and I love that.”I haven't experienced such heartfelt movements in Silvercrest Pack ever since I got here. I had thought the feast was not going to go down well with me but here I was having a lot of fun already even when they seem not to have gone half way to the event of the night. It was nightfall and the courtyard looked like something out of a dream—warm lanterns floated overhead, shining like fireflies, and long wooden tables stretched from one end of the grounds today the other, weighed down with roasted meat, fresh bread, berries glistening with syrup, and sweet wine poured into cups. The kind of moment that made you forge
