“Thanks for the ride, sir!” Andreas chirped as he jumped down from the jeep. He grabbed the bottle he had kept from the back. After saluting Stephan, he walked into the camp. Stephan gave a light hum in response. Then he drove away to the motor pool.

As soon as he hopped down from the driver’s seat, a soldier approached him. “Lieutenant,” he said, taking the key, “His Lordship has asked for you in the meeting room.”

“Alright.”

Stephan swiftly turned around and made his way to the big building in the middle of the base camp.

Stephan stood outside a huge metal door. A mechanical female voice echoed in the silent hallway: “Authorization required.”

Stephan stepped closer to the door, letting the system scan his pupil and fingerprints.

“Authorization confirmed.” Then, with a clicking sound, the door slid open. As soon as Stephan walked inside, the door shut tightly behind him.

There were 6 other people already waiting for him inside the secret meeting room.
