Little spies

Sammie looked at Katherine and Greg like an adult could look at two not-very-smart kids.

Alpha felt shivers running down her spine. She grabbed Greg's hand to add courage. This little girl in front of her was terrifying. It was hard to believe this girl was a child. Her look was severe, cold, and calculating.

- Close your mouth as you may catch the fly. - Sammie said, glancing at Katherine.

- How is this possible? - Alpha mumbled to no one in particular.

- It must be shocking to a lowly developed creature like you. Witches are born very smart. - The girl chuckled.

The next moment, Greg was holding her throat.

- You had to be unfortunate then. - Vampire hissed. - I have warned you once, and you disobeyed me. Now, it is a second time. If you insult my mate again, it will end your life.

The girl seemed unfazed by his actions when she burst into laughter.

- She is your mate? And you call me unfortunate? Mighty vampire prince bonded to a wolf. That is hilarious.
