7. Medicine

After arriving home Johnathan tells me bye and kisses me on the cheek. I smile at him and head into the house as he makes his way to the side gate with Manuel.

I barely got a chance to walk into the house before Lucy attacked me wanting to know everything about my date. Of course, she was upset we ended up at a burger joint instead of a sit-down restaurant.

But when Juan told her he completely understood and that was where he was eating lunch the next day she let me off the hook. Even though she would like for me to get over my fear of intimacy she understands it will take me a while before I am ready to let anyone that close to me again.

I know deep down that is why all my relationships fail. Every time I have been with someone long enough and we get to that part of our relationship I freeze up. One because of the last time...two because Tristan didn't stop it from happening.

My therapist said it was because of the fact I expected Tristan to save me and he didn't he just walked away.
