CHAPTER 29 (PART 1): THE ENCHANTED LIBRARY
“Are you sure about this, Chief?” Arth had to ask as they strolled down the cobblestone road. It was midday and the snow was falling lightly. Arth was wearing his usual blue cloak while the Chief was on his brown winter coat.
“Sure about what?” Chief Gregor raised an eyebrow as he turned to Arth. Both of them had their heads covered by their hood to avoid being noticed.
“About meeting the village Chief … What if he will turn us over to the king? We are all wanted in the entire country of Glacia … are you not worried?”
“Calm down, son. Magus Jade is an old friend of mine.”
“Magus Jade?”
The Chief nodded. “That is what we call him. He’s a retired Grand Mage from the capital many years ago. We’ve worked together during my time as a Grand Knight serving the crown. Have no worries
