"But I thought you were dead?" I said in utter surprise, then I set the helmet on the bike and slid closer to Roger and those two old men with him.

"What was that for?" He curiously asked after reaching to his flushed face. The two old men with him growled at me and were about to attack me but Roger blocked his hands on their chests.

"Well. You can't blame me for that. My wolf needs to make sure I wasn't dreaming." I defensively breathed back. Part of me could not deny the fact that my wolf felt at ease seeing him alive.

There were a lot of things my wolf wanted to tell Roger since Ghino and his friends got me out of the penitentiary. Sadly, I no longer have much time for that.

Even if their sudden show up is to stop me from executing my plan, none of them can stop me. My wolf is doing this to make sure everyone's safety. To make sure everyone lives. I can't afford to see another drop of blood that will stain the ground, especially from Ghino and his friends.
