Ghino's First Shift

"Yes. Everything's fine. You may go." I said back, still trying to figure out when did I get the chance to hear his voice. but no matter how hard I tried to remember when and where, I could barely find it down from my memory lane.

"No. Everything's not fine. This man is harassing me." To my surprise, those were the words that came out of Ghino's mouth. Could not believe he could say such words right in front of me. I may know about how angry he was with me but I could not believe he will take sides with a stranger.

Ghino then sprints in the man's direction. This time, he was the one who hides behind the man's back. And the man immediately protected Ghino by blocking my gaze to get eye-to-eye contact with him.

"Ghino, what are you talking about?" Could not help but ask. I slid closer to him but the man pushed me away. Hard enough I bounced back to my spot.

"You heard the man. Stay away from him or else..." he suddenly cut off his words as though something has change
