"Come on son, even if we haven't told you our feelings, about how important you are to us, always remember that everything we do... Is always for your sake. Because you are our only son." Mum insisted.

"I don't need any of this, mum. Don't even care if we're broke. You and dad are all I need. I'm fine if I live in a tiny room. Don't care if eat once or twice a day. Don't even care if I fall short of my allowance every month. As long as you and dad were always on my side, it's all that matters to me."

While letting out those words to mum, I compared myself to what happened to Ghino. He was all alone in his tiny apartment, yet he survived. That even if the world was so mean to him, he still stands firm. I envy Ghino for his courage and bravery.

I had everything, yet I am still sad. He had nothing but he still wanted to be happy. And because of that, I have no regrets about doing everything for him. As long as he is always happy. That's all I ask even if my parents don't
