The Confessions

A few minutes later, Ghino and I jumped into the window of his apartment. After that, we slid to our respective wardrobes to get some clothes.

"Ghino, we need to talk about the old man earlier," I muttered right after putting some clothes on.

"I'm already tired. Not now. And besides, I'm still not talking to you, Nathan." Ghino said back.

After putting some clothes on, we jumped onto the bed in unison. However, without saying another word, Ghino immediately grabbed his pillows and blanket and plummeted to the floor.

"Come on, Ghino. Don't make this hard for me, will you? I'm not your enemy here." I insisted before I dropped my butt on the edge of the bed, facing his direction.

When I got the chance to land my foot on the floor, I realized it was freezing. And Ghino has plans to sleep on the floor, endure the freezing temperature, and ignore the uncomfortable situation just to stay away from me.
