With her determination to lose the one thing she kept for her mate notwithstanding the pain his rejection brought, Malisha was on a prowl. There was no way she was going to not be acknowledged by her own mate. The one person she has been waiting for.

She was not going to accept the rejection without doing something on her own. Belle, her wolf was whimpering, and could not come to terms that their mate abandoned them.

Malisha on the other hand was having none of that, and was trying hard to not show her pain and possessiveness which would lead to claiming Gray in the presence of everyone.

She looks for someone to talk to, and sees Logan, the son of the beta of a different pack. They end up speaking together, and knowing that he did not have a mate presently, she decided he was going to be her first.

They laughed through out the night, and when it was time for another dance, she picked Logan.

She and Logan came so close that she could feel his breath on hers. She sighed in happiness knowing that her plan was working. Even though her wolf was against it, she was going to see this through regardless of how strong the mate bond is believed to be.

With a smile on her face, she leans in, and immediately, Logan is thrown away. Everyone in the hall gasp.

Malisha’s eyes widen, and her mother swiftly comes to her side. She looks up and sees Gray’s eyes shine gold.

“Mate,” he growls coming closer to her.

Knowing this would cause an issue in front of everyone, she still refuses to relent, and her eyes shine bright. She can tell they are purple meaning her witch side is coming.

“Oh, now you want claim me?” She taunts him.

He growls. “Why will you let another man touch you mate?” He asks angrily.

She rolls her eyes at him which makes him growl.

“You are mine,” the lycan prince, Gray says which elicits gasps from everyone.

She uses her powers to make sure there is space between them which seems to make him aggravated. Her mother looks at her shock, but does not interfere.

When the cat and mouse game seems to go on for some minutes, her mother uses her mind link to talk to Malisha. “Mal, I think you should hear him out. His father’s party is already filled with gossip, and the fact that your mate is a lycan prince while you are a hybrid is a big deal. I believe you both need to leave the hall, and settle your scores privately.”

Malisha sighs, and allows Gray to get her which makes her father and brother growl in protection.

Her mother shakes her head at them, telling them to calm down. They relax knowing the last thing they want to do is cause a scene in the Lycan King’s wedding even though the scene has already happened.

Everyone is in a state of shock, but the king gets their attention back, and they go back to their party even though the event of tonight is still in the backs of their minds.

How will a hybrid and a lycan prince be together?

It will mean they will birth formidable powers which could make the werewolf and witch world stronger than the rest, which could bring about wars to cause issues.

The lycan king, Maxwell, makes eye contact with Malisha’s parents and his wife indicating that they had a lot to talk about.

While the party continues, Malisha is taken to Gray’s room where he is still finding it hard to calm down.

“You need to calm down right now Grayson,” Malisha says nonchalantly even though her wolf is jumping up and down for being in the presence of her mate..

“Why were you about to kiss him?” Gray asks barely holding his anger in.

“Why did you not claim me?” Malisha asks back.

“Do not answer my question with a question,” he commands.

Malisha cackles already getting angrier. “Just because you are the lycan prince does not mean you should forget that not only am I the daughter of an alpha, i am also the daughter of the queen witch. Regardless of where you stand in the wolf world, don’t forget I am a mix of both worlds. I am not to be played with.•

He clenches his fist, and says, “You are aggravating.”

“Says the one who pranked me more than I can count,” Malisha replies.

“That was when we were kids.” He spits out wondering why she is not answering his question.

“Were you going to kiss him if I had not interrupted?” He asks.

“Were you going to kill him if I had not stopped you?” She asks back.

“Malisha, stop it.”

The way he calls her name makes her feel warm and fuzzy, but she refuses to show how she feels.

“Answer me,” he says.

“We will not know now since you interrupted us,” she says.

“Now, why did you not claim me in public until your jealousy could not handle it no more?” She asks.

“Oh. That was your plan. To make me lose control till the extent I can I will claim you in public so you will not be seen as the mateless princess anymore,” he says angrily.

She immediately uses her magic to make him fall down on a table. He heals quickly, and glares at her.

“Using your powers is an unfair fight,” he says.

She rolls her eyes in reply. “I did not try to egg you on Grayson. It is not my fault you have no self control, and your pride can’t handle me getting kissed.”

He growls which makes her smile wickedly.

“I will kill him,” he states.

“You will do no such thing,” she replies.

“Are you supporting him, mate?” He asks while his wolf is already fighting to take control over his body.

She looks him in the eye, and says, “You will not kill him Grayson, and you better control yourself or else, I will leave here.”

“I will not let you leave,” he states.

“You seem to have forgotten that I am not just a werewolf Grayson. I am a witch. One of the most powerful at that,” Malisha says cockily.

He clenches his fist wondering why the moon goddess tested him by giving him a hybrid as a mate.

“On a serious note Grayson, you can not kill him. You know what will happen if you do such a thing,” she says calmly.

“Do not try what you did again,” he warns.

She rolls her eyes at him, and says, “You have no right to tell me what I should and should not do.”

“I am your mate. I believe I have the right to,” he says.

“So since I am your mate, I also have that same power, right?” Malisha asks raising her eyebrow with a sarcastic smile.

Grayson says nothing wondering what he did to have rewarded him with a mate like her.

“Since you do not want to tell me why you did not claim me like other normal mates do, I guess our conversation is over,” Malisha says about to move to the door.

Grayson moves swiftly, and blocks her from leaving the door.

“You and I both know that if I want to leave this room, I will.” She says looking at him dead in the eye.

“Stay,” he tells her.

Regardless of how she feels by not being openly claimed initially, she can not deny that she feels strongly for her mate. She blames it on fate because there was no way she was going to have feelings for Grayson who was a terror to her.

“What do you want to say?” She asks her mate while her wolf, belle, happily skips mentally.

“You are my mate Malisha. What you did today can not happen again. I would have killed without a second thought,” he says.

“Well, thank Goodness that I am powerful,” she replies.

He comes close to her, and hugs her. He takes in her scent struggling to control himself, and grins mentally because regardless of what just happened, she was no more without a mate.

She could finally experience what her parents did, and are still experiencing.

She hugs him back while her heart beats faster. Asides her family, and the pups, she did not really hug anyone this closely especially if they had mates.

“You will need to tone down your commanding since we are going to be together Grayson,” she whispers to him which makes him stiffen in her arms.

He finally loosens up, and she refuses to wonder why he had such a reaction on them being together. Maybe, he is just shy, she thinks to herself.

They finally seperate from each other, and look at each other. They kiss passionately, which makes Malisha sigh in pleasure.

Her mate was kissing her.

She was making out with her mate.

She was no longer mateless.

She could finally experience the bond many spoke about.

She kissed Grayson back with as much fervor and gladness not knowing the happiness was going to be temporary.

  • Reclaiming His Mate    The News Is Spreading

The silence surely is deafening. Training grounds were never this quiet. Had she known it was going to be this bad, she would train with Sage alone. Conversations died the moment she passed. How was she supposed to ignore that? She lets out a mental frustration. She was going to ignore it at the end of the day. There was nothing she could do right now. She walks to Sage, and he gives her a blank look. “You’re late.” She rolls her eyes. “I am NOT that late.” She raises an eyebrow. “You sound disappointed.” He shakes his head. “I do not, but you look distracted.” She narrows her eyes at Sage. “I have been here for like, two minutes plus, you always think I look distracted.” His lips turn slightly. “That is because you always are.” “I beg to differ,” Malisha replies. “Let’s begin,” he says, and she nods. They start with sparring drills, and even though Sage is a powerful wizard, he really is a good fighter. He really is fast, but he did not have the physical abilit

  • Reclaiming His Mate    The Queen’s Decision

Joanne looks at Grayson’s mother in shock. His father leaves the both of them sensing that the conversation is not for him. “You are actually really serious,” Joanne says in disbelief. “Of course, I am.” His mother says rising from her seat with grace. “I only want what is best for my son, and while he is pining over someone who does not want him anymore, it hurts me to see.” “But he is the one who rejected her, right?” Joanne asks carefully. “Forget about that. The past is irrelevant. He wants her, and she does not want him so, make him want you,” she tells Joanne. The words settle heavily in her room. “You are saying it like it is easy.” Joanne says after letting out an exhale. “Of course it will not be easy, but you are beautiful girl, and you seem to be smart, and you have a sense of duty. I am sure you will find your way.” Joanne looks at the lycan queen in shock while wondering if this is the best thing for her to do when Grayson has openly stated that it was only

  • Reclaiming His Mate    You Will Never Be My Mate

“We did not think you will be coming back so soon, Grayson,” his mother mutters. “So, why is she here?” “I was invited,” she replies. Grayson’s eyes turn light brown indicating that his wolf is getting annoyed. “I was not speaking to you.” The woman flinches, and normally, Grayson would have felt pity for her, but all he could feel is anger. “Don’t be rude to her,” her mother scolds him. He ignores his mother’s words. “Who is she? And what is she doing here?” “Her name is Joanne,” her mother says. “And so? What is she doing here?” Grayson is trying as hard as he can to control his anger, but it does not seem to work. “She came here to have a meeting with us,” his father says. Grayson scoffs. “I hope she is not here for what I think she is.” “Grayson, sit down,” his father commands. “No, I will want to hear whatever it is you have to say.” Grayson angrily says. “I have a feeling I will be walking out of this discussion.” His father glares at him, but Grayson

  • Reclaiming His Mate    Someone Saw Them

The moment Malisha and Sage go to the training hall, Malisha can sense a kind of quiet. It seemed as though the people were talking, and became extremely silent the moment she entered. She looks at them suspiciously, but decides to brush it off. Her wolf is at high alert. We are being watched, her wolf tells her. "I know," Malisha mutters trying to hide the unease. She can tell that everyone is watching her, and she can tell that they want to say something. Sage comes beside her, and they walk together. "You can feel it too," Malisha states. "Yes," Sage replies. Malisha groans, but they walk outside, and she hears it. What some of them were probably saying and thinking before. I thought the prince and princess Malisha are no more? I thought he rejected her Does she still want him that much? I assumed that his chosen mate will be Willow, or someone else Malisha hears everything, and her heart squeezes at that. Willow? Malisha and her wolf think to thems

  • Reclaiming His Mate    Just Friends

She was so going to kiss him, and she knew it. She would blame it on her ovulation because Grayson was saying all the right things, and she obviously could not think clearly anymore. “You know, I will always want you, right?” Grayson asks lowly. “I would not know,” Malisha replies even though she can see it in full effect, and she is currently losing herself because of him. This is exactly why she told him she could not pick him, and she thought she had gotten to him, but instead, he makes her want to dive into his arms. She was forgetting about the rejection, and she could not deny she was not really faulting him for that anymore. Instead, she was just trying to protect herself so she won’t lose herself in the process. Plus with the problem of the savages, and their wants. She knew it was not a good idea to want to be with Grayson, and she was going to find a way to yank the thread that was connecting them together. The thread that was making her irrational. The thread that w

  • Reclaiming His Mate    I Will Choose You

Malisha rolls her eyes even though Grayson is caging her in, and she is feeling the tension of being this close to him. “The wizard is not the one for you,” Grayson says simply. “More like YOU are not the one for me,” Malisha mutters. “Then explain to me why we are fated mates?” He asks looking like he is still trying to rein in the anger. “Were,” Malisha corrects with an evil gleam in her eyes. At this point, it seemed as though she got off from egging on the lycan. She loved the effect she had on him, and how affected he got whenever it concerned her. “Stop fucking saying that, Malisha,” he says exasperatedly. “What I am feeling does not feel like it is in the past, and the moment you accept that, the better for you,” Grayson says which makes Malisha snicker. “I can’t believe the Lycan prince is this deluded,” she says. “You better believe it, Mal.” “Do not call me that,” she tells him glaring. “But the wizard can call you that?” Grayson asks without even maski
