It wasn't long after I had finished drinking coffee, breakfast was served. Eric prepared breakfast, while Ammon gave him a helping hand. I was left alone with Derek the whole time. Sometimes, he would smile at me for a reason best known to him. Whatever the source of his smile was, it doesn't mean well to me, I know that. That was why, when we had breakfast I felt more comfortable with the other wolves around. After our meal, I went outside the cottage although it was cold. However, I was not alone since I was under the watchful eyes of the wolves nearby. They were standing not too far away from me, about 40 meters away.

Suddenly, the alpha started walking in my direction. What does he want this time?

"Louis, it's time we move out. I'm sure you have had enough rest after having breakfast?" He said.

"Yes, I'm good now," I answered.
