Chapter 1

Callum and Lian parted ways after a quick kiss. Lian was smiling like an idiot. Thankfully the night has set in and no one could see how he looked like the joker with how much he was smiling, but it soon turned into a frown when he saw a piece of luggage, his luggage, being loaded up in an unknown car. A man wearing black approached him and all his senses went haywire.

Lian turned to run but the man was too fast. He was quickly held down with a rag placed over his nose. He tried making a sound but it came out muffled. Lian felt a prick on his neck and his vision was starting to get hazy and his body was going numb. Lian desperately tried to fight it off as he felt his hands and legs get tied up. The dark made it impossible for other people to see them. Lian could only cry as his world got blurry with each blink.

Hours had passed and Lian was awoken by the harsh winds and the sun glaring at his face. His whole body felt sore as he tried to get up from the cold ground. The harsh and putrid smell of garbage entered his nose. He bolted up from the ground in panic and looked around. He was in an alleyway surrounded by bags and bags of garbage all around him. Lian quickly looked for his phone but found his backpack and luggage already open.

His phone was nowhere to be found and all of what was left in his wallet was his ID and a few coins. Even his luggage only contained a few pieces of clothing. Dread suddenly filled him. He doesn't know where he is and all he has are a few pieces of clothes and coins. Lian tried his best not to panic. He looked out the alleyway and found a phone booth near the corner. Hope filled him and he quickly packed what was left of his belongings in the backpack.

He hurried over to the booth and inserted a few coins in the slot. Lian entered his home number. Relief entered his body when the phone started to ring. It was quickly replaced with anxiety with every second that passed and no one was still answering. The call finally dropped and Lian dialed the number again. After a few seconds, the phone was finally answered.

"Good afternoon, this the Moore household. How may I help you today?"

"Michael? It's me, Lian. Someone kidnapped me. I don't know where I am. I need-"

"I'm sorry, Lian, but I can't help you," Michael spoke, cutting off Lian.

"What do you mean you can't help me?" Lian asked.

"The Moore household no longer acknowledges you as their son. You are no longer allowed to contact any of the members and you are no longer allowed to step foot in this home. I'm so sorry," Michael said before abruptly hanging up the phone.

Lian stood there aghast. He couldn't believe what he had just heard. He had been disowned. His family no longer wanted him and he doesn't even know why. He was left in the middle of nowhere with nothing and now he has no family. With the last of his coins, Lian dialed the number of the only person he could only rely on at this moment.

"Hello?" the person answered.

"Callum," Lian cried.

"Never contact me again," Callum said before hanging up.

Lian thought his heart couldn't break even more. He never heard Callum talk to him that way. Now he has absolutely nothing. Lian slid down on the floor, he couldn't even cry. He just sat there motionless. In just one day he lost everything. He just wanted an explanation as to why, and he can't even have that.
