Warren’s POV

"Got her," Cole said, leaning back in his chair with a satisfied smirk. "The call pinged off a tower right near the Louvre. She’s in Paris."

I blinked. "The Louvre? As in… the museum?"

Cole nodded. That explained the strange acoustics, the echoes, the distant voices.

I scoffed, shaking my head. "The city of love. Of course. Where else would she go right after dumping me?"

Paris. The same place she’d always said she wanted to visit ‘someday.’ Apparently, someday was now. Without me.

Just half an hour ago, I’d walked out of the police station after a humiliating night in the holding cell. I had a pounding headache, and a gut full of regret about what I’d done to Fred.

Then, just as I’d got in a cab, her name had flashed across my screen. Vienna. My heart had damn near stopped. For a second, I hovered my thumb over "answer." But something told me not to.

Not yet… A plan had started forming in my mind.

  • Regretful Heart: CEO's Tears Over Her Pregnancy   Chapter 134 - Unblocked Bastard

Vienna’s POVBella paused, her voice weighted with worry. "It happened late last night. He’s been in the hospital ever since. We… we haven’t had any updates yet."My stomach twisted. "Warren, that damned idiot!" I hissed. "How could he do this? What was he thinking?!""I don’t think he was thinking," Bella said quietly. "Noah was there. He said Warren looked… hollow. Like a ghost of himself. All anger, all questions. Like he was unraveling right in front of him. I think he’s really lost it, V."A wave of guilt crashed over me, tangled with frustration. "God, I never wanted this. I never wanted any of you to get caught in the crossfire.""Hey," she said gently. "You’ve got nothing to apologize for. He made his own choices. I didn’t want to tell you—really didn’t—because I didn’t want to spoil your time in Paris. But I thought you’d wanna know.""Bella," I sighed, my voice softening, "Don’t ever think you can’t tell me something. You did the right thing."There was a pause on her end. "S

  • Regretful Heart: CEO's Tears Over Her Pregnancy   Chapter 133 - Missed Calls & Masterpieces

Vienna’s POVI woke slowly, my body stretching like a cat as I blinked against the soft golden light. The rooftops of Paris shimmered beyond the window, kissed by the Saturday morning sun.I sat up, a smile tugging at my lips before I was even fully awake.Running a hand through my tousled hair, I breathed in the comforting scent of fresh linens. Everything about this city felt like a dream. Only it wasn’t. This was my life now. After a long, luxurious shower, I slipped into a flowing lavender dress. Perfect for a day of exploring. I had no concrete plans. But with the way this city worked, I was certain Paris had plans for me.Just as I was reaching for my phone, there was a gentle knock on the bedroom door."Miss Vienna?" came Jacques’ refined voice. "I took the liberty of preparing breakfast. May I bring it in?"I smiled. "Of course, Jacques. Thank you so much!"The door creaked open and Jacques entered with a tray like something out of a hotel commercial. Fresh croissants, fruit, a

  • Regretful Heart: CEO's Tears Over Her Pregnancy   Chapter 132 - A Fistful of Regret

Warren’s POVFriday night crept in like a storm cloud. I stayed at the office as late as I possibly could. Weekends used to mean something. A break. A breather. A chance to laugh, let loose, recharge. But now? They were a hollow stretch of hours I didn’t know how to fill without her.As I walked to my car, my phone buzzed in my pocket. A text from Cole."Still no news on Vienna. Airport staff won’t budge. Keep you posted."I blinked at the screen, confused for half a second, then winced. Oh right. That drunk phone call."Shit," I muttered aloud, dragging a hand through my hair. If even Cole, my best private investigator, couldn’t crack it… Desperation curdled in my stomach. I needed something, anything to distract myself before I did something stupid.I scrolled through my contacts and hit call."Noah," I said the second he answered. "Hey, man. You up for Friday night drinks?"There was a pause. A long one."Warren…" Noah’s voice sounded cautious. "Look, I hate to say this, but after

  • Regretful Heart: CEO's Tears Over Her Pregnancy   Chapter 131 - Professor Delacour

Vienna’s POVChocolatier, tour guide, and now professor? Was this guy serious?I blinked hard, as if my eyes were lying to me. But no—Raphaël stood confidently at the front of the classroom, dressed in the school’s crisp white chef’s coat with Chef Delacour embroidered above the heart. The same curly-haired, motorbike-riding chocolatier who had taken me on a spontaneous tour of Paris was now addressing the class like he owned the room. Because, apparently, he did.No wonder he’d reacted strangely when I mentioned I’d be starting at Le Cordon Bleu. He teaches here.Zanele nudged me. "You look like you’ve seen a ghost instead of a very alive, incredibly handsome professor. What’s going on?"Before I could explain, Raphaël clapped his hands lightly. "Alright, everyone. I am Chef Delacour. I’ll be your instructor for Artisan Chocolaterie this semester." His voice was smooth, confident, with a hint of that unmistakable Parisian charm. "Let’s begin with a little history, yes?"For the next

  • Regretful Heart: CEO's Tears Over Her Pregnancy   Chapter 130 - Trouble in a Chef’s Coat

Vienna’s POVI spun around sharply to face the bully. He was the typical buff, popular type, leaning smugly against the counter. A couple of his cronies snickered behind him."Excuse me?" I said, my voice cutting through the air like a blade. The guy looked up, mock-innocent. "Did I do something wrong?""You said something vile," I snapped. "Apologize.""Relax, Miss Up-Tight. It was just a joke.""Then it was a stupid one," I said coldly. "If you think racism’s funny, you’re in the wrong kitchen."Chef Marceau must’ve overheard the exchange, because he appeared beside us like a ghost. "Is there a problem here?"I opened my mouth, but Zanele placed a gentle hand on my arm. "We’re fine, Chef," she said coolly. "Just clarifying a misunderstanding."The chef studied us, then looked at the boy. "Keep your jokes out of my kitchen, Mr. Laurent. That’s your only warning."The boy shrugged and returned to his station, but the smugness in his face had disappeared. After Chef Marceau moved on, I
