Almost five years after the Addison massacre the police were no closer to identifying either the motive or the culprits. Out of all the forensic testing carried out there was nothing to indicate anyone else but the victims had been in that building. It didn’t make sense, generally, everybody left a bit of themselves somewhere. They had spent a huge amount on processing and testing the mountain of evidence, it had taken years and they had nothing to show for it. The police had decided to wind the investigation down, it would probably never be closed but unless someone came forward with some new information there didn’t seem to be much else they could do.
