Chapter Sixteen

Nicks POV

There were lots of hugs and crying mainly from mom. My dad and I are talking business while mom and my mate are talking baby names and nursery themes.

“Dad, I do have a question. Well it is more of a request actually.” I say.

“What is it son, you know that you can ask me anything.” he replies.

“Well I was wondering if you would like to retire from Alpha a little sooner than we discussed? Izzy has agreed to be my Luna and my wife. We would both like to do the two ceremonies together, that way we step into this next chapter as equals.” He seems to think about my words.

“How soon were you thinking?” He asks.

“Weekend after next.” I say.

Before he has a chance to answer my mother almost screeches.

“You want to have a wedding and an Alpha ceremony in a week and a half?” Her face is almost white with horror.

“Come on Catie, you know that you can throw it together for them. Let them be young,” my father tells her.

“Where on earth are we going to find you a dress?” she ponders.
