Alana’s POV.

The door opened again some hours later, ushering in one of the guards. "I'm here to accompany you to the judgement hall"

My heart skipped an unhealthy beat at his word and i dung my nails into the palm of my hands to stop myself from visibly shaking.

I gave a stiff nod, swallowing the lump that had formed in my throat before stepping forward and he turned and began to lead the way.

More guards were stationed outside the room and more along the hallway. It's obvious someone was anxious that i might escape even though i had no intention towards it.

If Kai wanted me to be put to death for something i didn't do then so be it. I'd embrace his judgment in good fate. It’s not like I have anything else to live for anyways.
