Delilah's POV:

One second he was flushed against me, gawking at me like he was starving to death and I was his favorite meal, and the very next second, he was up and out the window. No answers, no explanations.

My head was a jumbled mess of chaos and excitement. I was stunned at my own reaction. Instead of freaking out at his confession, asking him exactly what he was and what the hell he was doing in my room, I kept standing there like a dummy. And that kiss? What was that and why was I the one to initiate it? I was seriously losing hold of my senses.

The revelation itself wasn't much of a shock for me. Maybe after what I had been witnessing in the past few days, I kind of had an idea. I mean, what human could possess such power and speed? I had so many questions about the situation. I still have. Millions of them. But damn, those intense eyes and the intoxicating scent seemed to cloud my sense of thinking every time he was in close vicinity.
