Luna Averie's POV

My entire body ached so badly, the horrors of this pack are beyond me. I am forced to sleep on the cold floor. I'm made to slave all day and used to warm the bed of the Alpha or Beta at night.

I miss my love, the sweet memories we used to have keeps me sane in this place. Luckily for me the Alpha and Beta are gone for the tournament.

“Get up, lazy ass. There's breakfast to make.” Doris, the head maid, hit hard on the shack they gave me as a home.

I grunted low, pushing myself off the bare floor, my dress torn in several places.

“Yes, Ma'am.” I said with gritted teeth. The last time I dared to call her by her name, she used a wooden stick on me like some dog.

“I'll give you five minutes, or I'll send Anna in. You know how much she enjoys hurting you.”

I heaved a sigh and rushed outside. She had her arms folded, tapping her foot on the ground in front of her.

“I'm here.”

“Good, let's head to the kitchen.” She walked past me and headed to the back of the pack house.

Aria's POV The entire place went still, no one moved or said anything.I didn't do anything! This entire thing is crazy, I can't even wrap my head around it.“What have you done to my mate?” A burly man radiating with rage growled barging forward.Kael intercepted and stood right in front of me. Growling in warning and standing in a defensive stance.“Stand down, Alpha Jomari. Something isn't right.” Alpha Thorton's booming voice resounded from behind him.“Yeah? The only thing not right is that abomination called a Luna. She obviously….”With the speed of light, Kael crashed into him shifting partially. The Alpha Jomari also shifted and growled in challenge.Alpha Jomari is extremely large, with an auburn coat of fur. But Kael was a different story, more beast-like than anything. He was standing on both feet but had the features of a Lycan. In second they were at it again, but without any difficulties Kael had got a grip of him and knocked him hard against the bare floor.“Shit, thi

Aria's POV My heart pounded hard against my chest, my nerves were all over the place. The thing is today was for racing and I'm so nervous.“Calm down, Ari. I'm right here with you.” Willow soothingly muttered at the back of my mind. “Okay, thank you Willow.” Kael held my hands in his as he accompanied me to the backstage for debriefing. He has made this his regular routine. It makes me feel so loved.“We're here, babe.” Kael said, pausing abruptly, turning to face me.“I didn't even notice that. My mind drifted afar.” A full blown smile on my lips.“Are you okay? Don't lie to me.” He pulled my forehead against his, rubbing it gently. It calmed me down almost instantly. “I'm so nervous babe, what if I don't perform. I got lucky the last time.” He took a deep breath. “You will perform magnificently. Never compare yourself to anyone. You're good enough, and no matter what happens we will always be proud of you.”I pecked his lips softly, his eyes widened in surprise. “That's new,

Adeth/Mabel's POV I've fit just right into the Cantara Pack. Everyone treats me like a baby sister, even the warriors, but something still irks me. Will they still treat me this way if they knew my true story? So many skeletons were in my closet already.“What are you thinking about so deep in thought, young woman?” Aria said, sitting beside me on the grassy ground.Today is even my birthday, I completely forgot.I needed some air so I came out to the training fields, and luckily a couple of warriors were training; what a sight.“Or are you just admiring the young men training?” She continued. I nudged her with my elbow and giggled covering my mouth.“Can you stop, can't I feed my eyes?” I said playfully, laughing out loud.“You're just a baby, sixteen. So no.” She said with a fake stern voice.“See why I called you Mom?” I gave her a sly smile.“Don't you dare! I'm too young for that.”I laughed at her expense. Actually someone caught my eyes, jeez he's so hot but I can only gaze f

Thane's POV My feet hit the concrete floor leading to the dungeons, my warriors had caught a rogue attempting to flee the camp.“Shaw, which cell is he in?”“The last cell, Alpha.”“We need to make an example out of him, so no one else thinks that it is okay to leave.”Shaw heaved a sigh but said nothing.“Do you have a problem, Shaw?” I asked with a threat in every word.He was silent for a while. “Nothing at all, Alpha.”I paused for a bit. “I hope you're not having second thoughts on our agreement and partnership?” I said, sparing him a glance.“Not at all, Alpha.” He said in a monotone voice.“It better not be so, you won't like it at all.” I said then kept on asking towards the cell.He remained silent for a while. I guess I'd keep an eye on him. I can't have anyone ruining my plans before they become successful.Once I began to pass the cells, almost all of them pushed back from the bars to avoid being noticed. I chuckled at their stupidity, like hiding could save you. We bot

Aria's POV I had Kael's hands wrapped around my shoulders, giving me relief and comfort. We walked quietly towards the backstage. Today was the day for weapon throwing and I was feeling a lot better.Soon we arrived close to the door of the room. Kael made me face him.“Remember you are one with your wolf and incomplete without her.”I nodded with a smile. “Well someone needed to speak to your stubborn self.” Willow muttered sassily at the back of your mind.“Whatever,” I told her, rolling my eyes.“Willow, right?” Kael asked.“Yes, she hasn't fully forgiven me for yesterday.”“She will come around. She absolutely loves you.”“I hope so.” I said.“Remember, I love you no matter what happens.” He said rubbing his cheeks against mine.Kael was pulling attention to us, I was getting shy.“No pressure, we all love you.”“Thank you, love you too.” I said and pulled off him.I heaved a sigh and walked inside the room, this time with so much confidence.I stopped right by a Luna who offere
