Titan POV

I barely had time to sit when one of the servants rushed into the hall, panting like he had just run a marathon.

My back ached from hours of pacing, and my head felt like it was splitting in two from all the stress.

“What is it?” I asked, feeling irritated.

I was too tired for this shit.

But the moment she spoke, every ounce of exhaustion drained from my body.

“Alpha Titan,” she said, breathless. “Your mother is awake.”

I stood up immediately, the chair scraping loudly against the floor. For a second, I didn’t believe her. After everything, after the endless nights watching the healers shake their heads, after the blood and the quiet whispers of doubt…I didn’t think she’d pull through so many people told me she would not be able to make it.
