LOGININDIRA'S POV We rode speedily outside of the cities, heading towards the outskirts. The thoughts of Aliyah's death weakened my wolf. Aliyah is the only person dear to my heart.I saw the way she worked diligently for me. Her loyalty to me was unmatched. She is the strength I have whenever life's storm begins to push me hard.Such an intelligent, smart young woman. Why would she just die? Gosh. I hope this isn't true. The smell of dust and old furniture penetrated my nose as we arrived in an old building.I recognized the building as soon as I saw it.I gently jumped down from the horse and the guard led me inside the building.“Take me to where Aliyah's body is lying” “This way,” he said. We proceeded inside the building.A loud commanding male voice struck from the inside at once.“Stop there!”We halted on the spot before the guard spoke out. “It's Luna” the guard with me announced. A few moments later, we stepped inside. Another guard, one who had accompanied Aliyah to
INDIRA'S POV It's been two nights now since Aliyah left the pack house for her mission. My mind hasn't been at ease since I knew that Alan is alive. I want him dead as soon as possible. His existence is a treat to me. Deep down, I was confident about Aliyah. Before she left for Silvermoon pack, I changed her identity to someone else. I'm hoping she doesn't disappoint me anyway. I am certain she wouldn't. Breakfast was served that morning. One of the maids knocked on my door, inviting me over to the dining room. But I insisted that my meal be served in my room. The maid left but returned, saying Titan demands my presence. “Poor Titan” I mumbled under my breath while I sent the maid away. What does he want me at the table for?He wants us to have breakfast together yet he didn't allow me to attend the last council meeting. I wasn't even briefed about anything that was deliberated in that meeting. No clue. Nothing. This is how Titan was slowly pushing me out of leadership.
ALIYAH'S POV It's been a hassle dealing with Alan. Gosh. He's a trivia hunter. He seems smart. Really smart. I mean, how could he even be this smart? But I can't afford to disappoint Luna. She has always spoken so well of me. I would rather die than fail her. I must really act fast before the healer gets suspicious of me. Alan might even expose me to her.Night past. I didn't know where Alan went that evening but he never came back to the healer's place. Luna instructed me to drug Alan and hand him over to the two men that came in with me. They're around. One of the men even came in earlier today to get his wound treated. That was how we got updated on everything happening. The men have been pretty furious and demanding I act faster. That said, I'm wasting too much time.In return, I told them to come back the following morning. Very early. It seems Alan only comes to get himself treatment in the morning and maybe in the evening. Everything's ready to make the operation
ALAN'S POV The following morning, the young woman stepped out of her room.I studied her very carefully. She looks unreadable. Also, she had an innocent face that made it impossible for anyone to be suspicious of her. After the healer applied the medicine on my head ,I decided I was going to speak with the lady myself. She told the healer she was homeless, adding up some stories that I found baseless.Another thing to note is that she came pretending to be sick whereas, there was nothing wrong with her. According to the healer, the Lady's name is Phyna, from Darkmoon Pack. Her entire history is baseless for me. Now, I needed to see that lady. Her moves look suspicious to me. What if she was sent to spy on me? What if she was sent by someone from the Wilder Pack. The healer agreed to let Phyna stay for a while until she could find a place of her own. Phyna was seated gloomily on a wooden chair, her expression cold and blank. There in the large living room, I pulled a seat an
ALAN'S POVKari did not leave any stone untouched. Now I know where exactly the bad dreams I have been having are coming from.No doubt, Alpha Titan's mate, Indira, was the woman I have been seeing in my dreams with chains in her hands to whip me. Since Viktor and Kari believed I carried the truth the Wilder Pack members was searching for, I found myself tracing everything back to my second dream—the one where I was bound to a tree, surrounded by a gathering in an open space and a male voice rose above them all, cold and commanding, ordering that I be killed. So it's all about the Alpha's mate and her secrets and the truth. That secret must be really grave and really heavy.Good.Kari has told me all that I need to know. She warned me to protect myself from Indira and her men. After I left the pack house, I retired to the healer's place. She has been telling me to come over this evening to get treated. I reached the healer's place and met a young, beautiful, slim woman sitting an
ALAN'SThe day slowly turned, giving way to night.Since my recovery was progressing too slowly, I decided to have the healer move me somewhere else where I could receive better care. Although I hadn't left the first healer's place, I had to focus on improving my health. After what Alpha Titan and Viktor told me about, I thought it right to help myself. To locate my past before it's too late. Those dreams have been occurring all time and it's a thing I should pay serious attention to.After the treatment in the other healer's house, I decided to see Viktor and Kari in the pack house. Kari was seated with her sister Bianca in the hall room. As soon as they saw me, Kari welcomed me very warmly. She offered me something refreshing and very soon, we began to discuss.I wanted to find out a lot about myself from Kari and Viktor since Alpha Titan isn't in the Silvermoon pack now.Viktor wasn't around the pack house when I arrived. “I need to see you for something really serious, Kari.
Kari’s POVThe sun burned gently above the Silver Moon pack as drums echoed down the streets. The annual military parade was in full swing. Warriors marched in neat lines, their silver and navy uniforms glinting proudly under the daylight. Children sat on their parents’ shoulders waving small flags
Titan's POV.I watched as the despicable person looked around. “You better start talking or I will cut your limbs one by one.” I threatened. He stares at me, his eyes brimming with tears and regret.Good now he knows I mean business. No one can save him now. I thought his only crime was his affair
Titan's POVThe door opened quietly, but her scent hit me like a slap. Lavender and a hint of old lies.Indira stood at the edge of the room, her hands twisted nervously in front of her. Her eyes, those same soft brown eyes that once held laughter and mischief were now rimmed with red. She looked l
Kira's POVThe steady beeping sound of a monitor was the first thing I heard as soon as I regained consciousness.I slowly opened my eyelids which felt so heavy like bricks. I reluctantly opened them trying to get a grasp of my environment. The last thing I remembered was me sitting in the car, whi
