Jax's POV

We made our journey to the Rogue pack following the wood parts with Tyler and Ash in the Frontline, guiding us through the narrow wood paths.

We walked—almost silently.

The past few days have been pretty tough for me. I've been trying to figure things out especially between myself and Raven.

The distance between us has been killing because I didn't get the results I wanted from Raven. She didn't care about my feelings.

Not once!

My distance from her was a test—to know the strength of her affection for me but nothing worked. Raven remained unshaking and hard with her feelings for me.

Raven, when did you suddenly become this hard? Why do you keep hurting my feelings for you? Can't you see that I can't live without you?

My breath thickened as I walked silently behind Raven, my eyes fixed on her curves.
