EP 5: Rejection

“I, Alpha Adolf Lincoln reject you, Maryn Armstrong as my mate and the future Luna of Iron Clad Pack.” Without any guilt, Adolf declared so while looking right at her face. Everyone was quiet now, no chattering, no clapping as if they were mourning.

Adolf waited for her to speak just like everybody present there. On the other hand, Maryn couldn't help but keep her eyes closed while uttering, “I… I accept the rejection.”

Suddenly Maryn felt a strong force of pain surging inside her, it was so unbearable that she felt she was attacked by dangerous weapons all of a sudden. She could not understand what was going on with her, maybe it was the pain they were talking about?

Maryn clenched her fists as the pain was spreading all over her body like a parasite, she could barely stand on the spot.

Adolf’s eyes twitched for a second as he saw her face, he could tell that she was going to lose it soon. ‘I hate it!’

Maryn turned around intending to leave. Somewhat strange it felt, she did not
