Chapter 27

Mira’s POV

Two weeks later…

Light rays filtered into the room, causing me to squint. Covering my eyes with the back of my palm, I threw my leg off the bed and then groped my way into the bathroom to perform my morning routine.

Several minutes later, I was back in the room and was standing behind my mirror as I did my hair. It was at this point that Elianna's image flashed before me and I let out a low sigh.

This had been a routine for a while now and I must confess it was driving me insane. At first, I thought it was because I dwelled on the embarrassment and several other things she had caused me so I decided to let go of the grudges I had against her.

After our last encounter, I haven't stepped out of my room for more than an hour each day. This I did because I didn't want to cross paths with her.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner was always served in my room and I was going to maintain this routine until I was certain it was safe for me to step out once again.
