LOGINJonahâs P.O.V For a while, I weighed the pros and the cons â but every time, I came back to the same conclusion. So, I decided I would follow my gut⊠my instincts. âLook,â I began, glancing up at Shadow, âI understand that youâre looking out for me, but consider the greater benefits this alliance could bring us. Other Alphas are already afraid of me. Now imagine if this Vipress submitted to my rule and I became their leader â how much more theyâd fear me.â I tried to reason with him, but Shadow just stared at me like my brains had been fried. âAlpha, youâre only asserting the advantages based on probability. Okay, have you even thought about the disadvantages? What if they turn against you?â âShe isnât stupid enough to dare me,â I countered, a smirk tugging at my lips. âIf she does, weâll send them not only back into hidingâŠâ I leaned forward, eyes gleaming darkly. âBut right into hell.â
Jonahâs P.O.V The look of surprise on my face mustâve been too obvious because Shadowâs brows creased immediately. âWell, whatâs up, man? Whatâs with your face?â he asked, his tone laced with concern. I was usually not the kind to get surprised â unless it was something beyond shocking for normal people. But this⊠this was on a whole other level. As I stared down at the ink scrawled across the paper, the handwriting stood out â elegant yet sharp, unfamiliar yet deliberate. The words, however, were unmistakable. They came from an unusual person. --- Dear Alpha King, Iâm writing to you not because I trust you â no, and I never will. But Iâm writing to you because I need your help. I have helped you before, and I hope you will return the favor. I am next in line to become Queen, and I want to lead my kind into the light.
Jonahâs P.O.V âYou didnât do wellâŠâ I paused, letting her nervous eyes meet mine before a teasing smile crept up my lips. âYou did exceptionally well. You were even able to land a blow on me.â Her eyes widened in surprise before they morphed into pride. And although it clearly made her feel good, she still chose to reply sarcastically. âBut you still went easy on me. More like you allowed me to land that fickle attack.â I flicked my finger against her forehead, and she feigned a yelp, dramatically holding her head. âSilly,â I said with a grin. âI bet you were too focused to notice how the pack members were looking in awe when you fought. Iâm not lyingâreally.â âI thought you wereââ Before she could finish her sentence, the pack members erupted into applause. Their faces beamed with pride, rendering her speechless and reminding us that they were still there. A
Danikaâs P.O.V I crouched low on the training ground, eyes locked on Jonahâs wolf with a determined stance. My wolf was smaller and leaner, though the lingering signs of recent weakness were evident in my frame. The morning sun cast long shadows across the field, highlighting the tension that now reigned, unlike minutes ago. Jonahâs wolf stood tall â massive and beastly â as it circled mine with a predatory grace. The pack members gathered around the edges of the field, their murmurs and whispers a soft backdrop to the charged atmosphere. Good, Jonahâs voice rumbled through the mind link, authoritative and steady. Now come at me. Remember what I told you. My wolf gave a slight nod, silver-sparkling eyes narrowing in complete focus. I could feel her muscles tensing, the adrenaline coursing through our veins. My paws staggered atop the grass before lunging toward Jonah.
Danikaâs P.O.V I donât know about him, but Iâd find every bit of it special. The fact that I would be attending this annual ceremony had already made it special, and I couldnât wait for the day to arrive. I flipped our hands so that mine was at the top of his, giving him a gentle squeeze before taking another bite from the meat. About what we were doing today â I thought for a while. What would I do that could involve both of us? Yes â my wolf. The doctor had advised me to exercise my wolf at least two or three times a week before coming back for a checkup. âSo how about we train together?â I suggested. His lips curved up in a smirk before he nodded in acquiescence. âGood idea⊠so I can sexually beat you to a pulp.â I knew I wasnât going to be able to land a blow on his wolf, but I still wanted to give it a try. Just trying it out with him felt exhilarating, but I
Danikaâs P.O.V âYou seem to forget something too â that I own you just as much as you own me. We own each other. So there should not be any sort of privacy between us.â Everything was close â him, his scent, his lips â that had me shifting from feet to feet to keep my thighs closed. My walls dripped and slicked. If he as much as sniffed out the scent of my arousal, a shiver racked up my spine at the thought of what would happen. âJust shut up, Jonah,â I said, clamping his mouth. âWash up and stop touching my body.â He sighed, raising his hands in resignation. âFine, Iâll stop teasing you so you donât drip and blame it on me.â He finally reached out for the mouthwash, squeezing some into his toothbrush before shoving it into his mouth. Together, we brushed â bickering and sniveling at every word. One thing led to another, and the bickering somehow turned into a kiss â and a k
