The first thing I realized when I woke up was that I wasn’t in my bed, and there was hair in my face.

Pulling back immediately, I recognized who the hair belonged to and let out an exasperated breath. Margaret slept peacefully, her chest rising and falling with each breath. The covers were pulled over her body, but underneath, she was completely naked.

I grabbed my phone to check the time but was shocked by the number of messages I saw. I was getting messages from people who hadn’t spoken to me in months.
