Scarlett's POV

" Where are you, Scarlett ?" I heard Felix's voice in my head.

A feeling of relief washed over me when I heard his voice.

" I'm in the kitchen. I was asked to prepare a meal for Alpha Carlos but I didn't have any idea on how to go about it. Can you be of help?"

"Sure, I will be there in a jiffy."

I was glad at least, there was someone who was going to help me but at the same time, I was nervous. I don't know if Leah was going to allow him into the kitchen.

I was pacing forth and back nervously in the kitchen when Felix arrived.

" Thank goddess that you are here. How did they allow you inside the kitchen?" I asked because I've never seen a guard entering the kitchen before except it's on the Alpha's order.

" Don't worry, I have my way," he replied with a grin.

" So, where do we start from?" He asked, lifting the sleeves and rubbing his palms together.
