Twenty-nine

~ Isabella’s POV

It was so bright in the morning as the sun shone on me and then I woke up on the bed with my vision blurry. I looked around to see where I was and then Lillian brought her face closer to mine which made me open my eyes wider and quickly sit up to see where I was. As I did so, nausea rose up in me and my head began to pound as the memories of the previous night came to me. I closed my eyes briefly and opened it again as every part of me protested against the slight movement. I held onto my head my one hand, as I winced in pain and then Lillian shouted at me to stop being a weak person.

“Why are you here?” I asked as soon as I was able to lift my head without feeling dizzy.

She smirked and then went to bring me a cup of water to drink. I cautiously took the cup of water from her and only stared at it, not making any attempt to drink from it.

“What? You think I might have poisoned it?” She asked, chuckling.
