Thirty

~Nathan’s POV

I woke up feeling dizzy and my head was pounding like I had been hit on the head with a stone. Dr Lucas was sitting beside me on the bed checking my pulse.

“Are you okay, Your majesty?” He asked immediately, he saw me opening my eyes.

Jones also ran to my side when he heard Lucas’s voice. They both helped me up and I asked them how long I was unconscious.

“More than twelve hours, Your majesty. Your breathing and heart rate are stable at the moment but I can’t say if you won’t have another crisis later.” Lucas said.

“Thank you, Lucas. You can return back to the infirmary.” I said weakly.

He packed his bags and bowed before leaving the room. I looked at the time and it was past twelve.

“The meeting.” I said as I stood up from the bed, charged towards my wardrobe to get dressed and informed Jones to call in the members of the council to have our meeting.

“They were here this morning and I led the meeting on your behalf.” Jones said.
