It wasn't the first time his father was calling him son so he wasn't too amazed but he could sense that something was wrong, very wrong. He tried not to think of the fact that his father's sickness was much. He knew he couldn't conclude since if his father was really too sick, the pack healer would have reached out to him. "Did Gwen come attend to you?" he asked as he took his seat beside his father who was looking too lean and pale for his liking.

"Gwen was here some minutes ago and he'll be bac soon after he gets what I asked him to get," Alpha Sid answered solemnly that made Alpha Logan convinced that something was really wrong. His father would never talk to him that way. He was always too strict and doesn't maintain his smile just the way he was doing to him now. He got the urge to hold his father's hand and he took it as he began to make soft caress on it.
