LOGINKyrell
Third person
Kyrell has never hated anyone this much. He hates her so much it literally hurts him when she's in pain. He hated that she had survived the bite. That mark was meant to be for his Luna, reserved for their mating night. At the same time he wouldn't have forgiven himself if she didn't.
He walked through the hallway of his mansion, heading to the garage.
He wasn't blind. He knows when someone was faking concern. The first time he saw her, she was running from someone, and he confirmed who that person was last night.
"Alpha." Samiel was already waiting by the car. He didn't say anything else to him when they got in. Samiel was shocked by last night's events, as was everyone present. It's a relief that the former Alpha and Luna left the ceremony early.
Kyrell was angry with himself, and he knows he's the one to blame. His parents already left the leadership of the pack to him and his Luna. He should be at the pack house with her, not here with the abomination he couldn't stop himself from marking.
With the last shred of strength left in him, Xerus had reacted before he could think and marked her just to stop her so called brother from taking her away. He read it as never seeing her again, and that's a reality neither of them wanted to accept.
By the time they arrived at the pack house, Vesper was already waiting for him at the dining table. She gave him a smile when he sat across from her.
"I've been waiting for you." Again, she smiled at him, although it didn't quite reach her eyes.
Kyrell knew she wasn't happy with him after what happened at the crimson hunt. Rejecting Nyx nearly shattered Xerus. His wolf didn't understand what was going on, he just cared about not seeing his mate in so much pain.
"I'm sorry I made you wait." Kyrell picked up his cutlery even though he wasn't hungry. Not when his mind was still filled with the images from last night.
"So," Vesper cleared her throat, "How's she?" After the shock she felt yesterday when she learned that Kyrell was mated to Nyx, the only thing she wanted was to erase her. Permanently.
"She's alive." He stated.
Kyrell had thought that rejecting her would sever the bond. It didn't. Seeing her crash at his feet, her eyes filled with confused tears as she clenched her chest in pain, he felt every ounce of pain she did.
"I think she should be working here, with the other omegas instead of lazing off somewhere else." Vesper tried to keep her voice soft. She had also found her true mate last night, who turned out to be a Beta from the mooncrest pack. She rejected him without thinking. Who would choose an ordinary Beta to the Lycan Alpha?
The thought of Nyx in Kyrell's private house, somewhere he couldn't take her to, made her blood boil.
"She will." Kyrell saw the relief in her eyes.
However, his mind was currently being invaded by his father. And there was no room to back out.
'What have you done!' His father's voice almost blew his brains out.
'Barely a day I left the pack and you've almost brought it to the ground.'
Kyrell knew that his father already found out what happened last night. When he left Vesper and walked over to Nyx, his father threatened to have Nyx thrown in prison. Another reason he had to reject her.
'If you didn't think me worthy to be the alpha, you wouldn't have handed the pack to me.'
Vesper saw the blank look on Kyrell's face and immediately knew he was mind linking someone.
'Yet you proved me wrong by marking a mutt after claiming your Luna! You didn't think of how you hurt her. How you hurt the pack.'
Kyrell knew his father was right, however he didn't like him always trying to insert himself in his life.
'Father, what happened has already happened. Enjoy your retirement with mother and let me handle things.'
Before his father could protest, Kyrell cut off the mind link.
"Is there anywhere you'd like to go?" Kyrell asked the woman in front of him. Her face lit up in joy.
"No. I just want us to spend some time together." Vesper knew that if she wanted to capture his attention and keep it, she needed to give him an heir. Having the pack support was simply not enough.
Kyrell stood up and stretched his hand out to her. She took it and followed him to the garden behind the pack house.
Vesper already toured the pack house last night, and Kyrell leaving her here with nothing to do gave her enough time to tour outside the pack house. However, the garden appeared more beautiful each time, so large and filled with the rarest of flowers. She doesn't like it. Not the green flowers, the coloured ones.
Luckily, Kyrell led her to sit on the gazebo beside the little fish pond.
"It's beautiful." She didn't lie. It was beautiful. It's just so colorful and not really her style.
Kyrell held her hands and faced her when they settled down. "Vesper, I know last night didn't end the way I planned it to. And for that, I promise to make it up to you."
Vesper could feel her heart flutter, but she wasn't going to let him see how his words affected her. After all she was still upset with him for marking another woman. But being in his presence was enough to make her forget. His eyes, his voice, his entire face were doing something to her she never felt before.
"True, I was hurt," she kept her voice as small as she could. "But seeing you here explaining everything makes me feel much better." Her expression softened and her lips began to tremble.
Kyrell brought her closer to lean on his shoulder when he saw the look on her face. "It wasn't my intention to cause you pain." This was him apologizing.
"After what she did to me," she took in a scent and sobbed, "All I wanted was to cry alone. But you being here makes me forget everything." She placed her hand on his chest. Feeling how hard it was beneath her hand, his scent that's making her lose her focus, she'll be damned if she lets another woman close to him.
She looked at him with tear-filled eyes, her finger slowly reaching out to his sharp jaw. Kyrell lets her. He lets her trace her fingers from his cheekbone down to his lips.
"Please don't leave me alone again," she sobbed. Kyrell took out his handkerchief from his pockets and wiped her tear-stricken face and brought her close. Too close that her breath fanned his face.
"I won't." He knew what she was about to do. Even though he didn't make any move, he didn't stop her either. Not when she brought her lips to his, not when her fingers moved to the back of his head, not when she finally captured his lips in a lingering kiss.
When Vesper deepened the kiss, he felt a burn in his chest. Not understanding what it was, he pulled Vesper closer until she was glued to him. Yet the burn was still there.
His hand slid behind her waist as he kissed her, trying to quench whatever was burning in him. Vesper consumed with his warmth and the feel of his soft lips, read his sudden aggression as passion.
Kyrell continued to kiss her trying to fill the burning void in his chest, but it only got worse.
Then a voice sounded in his head. So small and filled with so much pain.
"Please stop."
NyxIt's been happening for a week, whatever it was that kept causing me unbearable chest burn. First, it was the rejection, then the day "Prince Alpha" brought me here.I was plotting my escape when the mark began to throb before exploding into pain. That pain kept coming back every now and then. And I don't think today would be any different. Pain doesn't care about birthdays. Just like every other birthdays, I'll be spending this one locked up in the room, with additional pain as a gift. The lock opened, and the security guard walked in, holding a tray of cold food. He kept it on the floor and walked away without a word, like he always did. I didn't know how many guards they were, but he's the only one I've seen so far. After days of trying and failing to understand what he meant by "until I turn," I gave up. There was every possibility that he was just messing with my head, and I refuse to let him.I moved to the bathroom, showered, and changed into one of the dresses the guard br

NyxI stared at the man in front of me, trying to make sense of his words. I came up with nothing. I didn't understand what the fuck he just said, and he didn't look like he was going to offer any explanation."What do you mean until I turn?" I asked after a brief moment of silence, staring intently at him.Actually, there wasn't silence. There hadn't been since this morning. I've been hearing different sounds and I don't know how that's possible when he's the only person with me. Hell, I don't know anything at this point."Aren't you going to say anything "Alpha"?"He didn't answer, just turned to leave."Don't you think after everything you've done, the least you owe me is an explanation?" I snapped, my eyes fixed on the back of his head.He halted and faced me. His expression turned cold, and his eyes were filled with resentment. He took a step towards me."You," his voice felt like ice on my skin. I didn't know when I stepped back. "You mutt."Suddenly, he closed the distance and
NyxThe sound of birds chirping woke me up, my eyes fluttered open, but my mind was blank for some time. Slowly my eyes scanned the room. Too big for one person, not cramped up with unnecessary furniture, the bed beneath me didn't creak, this wasn't my room.I sat up too fast and the room tilted, the soft bed sinking in a bit. Memories of last night rushed back in pieces. The last thing I remembered was Cullen trying to take me home after the hunt before...My hand flew to my neck and I pushed myself off the bed and crossed the room. My legs were shaking as I walked towards a full-length mirror. I pulled my hair aside and gasped at the sight before me.There was a bandage on the spot that was beginning to throb. I gently took it out to see what was behind. A mark was just below my pulse point, like an animal bite. Four fang marks that seemed to be connecting to a single mark.I touched it, and the mark glowed faintly under my fingers. What on earth? Warmth spread down my neck and into
NyxMy heart skipped two beats, before pounding against my chest again. It was so loud, I'm sure every wolf here already had sore ears. The current attention was a blur, especially when his voice dropped so low, so taunting. For a heartbeat, there was silence, then the uproar began again. Overlapping voices laced with shock and disgust filled the room. Kyrell blinked as if he had just broken off from a trance. That's exactly what it was, a trance."What's going on here?" I didn't realize Vesper had already crossed the room and was now standing beside me. My eyes swept the room. The disgust of the wolves, the anger in the Alpha's eyes, and the confusion in the Luna's. I shifted my gaze back to Vesper, who looked like she was seconds away from tearing me apart."I don't understand. Why are you standing next to this human?" Vesper's voice cracked, like she was refusing to accept reality. What the fuck is the reality? That I'm his mate? That's not possible. I'm not even a werewolf. I sho
NyxWith the number of times my jaw dropped today, I'm surprised it's still attached to my face. Even though I wasn't able to witness it, I'm so happy that Mira found her mate. But then, Cullen?"Cullen? As in my brother Cullen?" I knew my question was stupid but I couldn't help it. Her eyes caught the reflection of the chandelier in the middle of the ballroom."Of course, Nyx. Which other Cullen do you know?" Like I said, I'm happy she found her mate, I just don't get why she is."Cullen is a douchebag." The words slipped out before I could think."He's the future Beta." She had a dreamy look in her eyes. What the fuck?"He's a douchebag." I repeated. I don't know what the mate bond did to her, but she's not paying attention to the douchebag part."And he's so handsome," her eyes found mine, "and he accepted me. We accepted each other." More like you handed your brains to him in exchange for the bond."Is this what you want?" Of course it's all she ever wanted. Is he who she wants th
Nyx I thought I was running but I wasn't. My head was bleeding but I felt the pain in my feet. I found my way to the woods at the back of the school, half falling and walking. The trees shielded me from prying eyes.My mind drifted back to the gold pair of eyes I saw earlier. Or was I imagining th

NyxIt's been two days since I got slammed against the wall, but the students won't stop laughing and whispering as I walk to my locker. It doesn't matter if I'm the Beta's daughter or human. Teenagers can be assholes, especially werewolves who believe strength is everything."Hey girl." Mira waves
