تسجيل الدخولAva's POV Elena and Viola were planning to stay in the pack for a long time, and I figured that just as two maids passed by me, struggling to carry some luggages. Viola stood in the middle of the hallway, giving out instructions to them on handling the bags carefully, like it could break into pieces if mishandled. Then our eyes suddenly met. A smile spread across my face, but before I could greet her a good morning, she rolled her eyes, turned and walked into her bedroom. And just as she left, I was reminded of the reason for waking up early. For some reason I was clueless about, Dominic didn't sleep beside me last night. Could he have been occupied with work all night? Or was he back to sleeping in his bedroom?I heard Rhea yawn in my head, “Quit the questions and go check him out in both rooms.” She advised, her voice low and still exhausted from sleep.I listened to her, going to check his bedroom first. But the room was empty and tidy like no one has been there in years.I closed
Lucien's POV Dinner was supposed to be a moment where I could enjoy my meal, and maybe share a light conversation with Selen like we used to do before, but neither of that was happening. Pack issues and finding Ava seemed to tug at my mind and it made me feel uneasy.I wasn't expecting that my warriors had found any valuable information about Ava's whereabouts. I wondered why she was so difficult to find. And then meeting Alpha Dominic seemed to be like the most difficult thing in the world.Who does he even think he is? I bet he was feeling so important knowing how much I want to meet with him. I couldn't help but think that his act of ignoring my request was intentional. But why?As far as I know, my pack has a good reputation, not entirely perfect, but other Alphas were willing to invest in me. Why was the Alpha king so fucking different?“Are you fighting with your steak?” Selen suddenly spoke after the long hours of silence between us.I looked down at my plate and I saw the res
Ava's POV The day went by so fast, I had decided to take a nap, leaving Dominic to work. Shopping with Dominic's mother turned out to be fun, but it also stressed me out a bit. And for some reason, as I got deep into the sleep, memories at Redveil pack began to flood into my mind.Everything that has traumatized me back there, Lucien's brutal behavior towards me, my parents and stepsister's hatred, it all played like a loop in my head. It made my brain active again, leaving me awake and distorted. It was as though meeting Vera today triggered it. I rose up from bed, deciding to go to the nursery instead of letting the silence around give me more reasons to think about the past. It was the last thing I wanted to do.On my way to the nursery, I passed by Viola's room and I didn't mean to pry, but her voice was loud and I could hear that she was talking to someone on a phone call.I stopped by her doorway, just standing there and then her words flew to my ears, “I just think she's not w
Vera's POV I scoffed as I left the restaurant where I met Ava. She looked so much better that even I couldn't deny. I watched as the older woman led her carefully towards a car that was opened by a well built man, who looked around as if scouting the place for danger and I frowned. "Just who saved her?” I thought, quickly taking a picture before they drove out of sight. After Alpha Lucien banished her, I had been so sure she was not going to survive more than a day for someone who spent her entire life within the pack ground because she felt doing that would please Alpha Lucien, who everyone knew had lost interest in her. For someone who had everything I wanted growing up, she didn't make good use of it and getting her out of the way was easier than I thought but that was only the first step in getting what I actually wanted. "Vera,” one of my friends called, running to meet me. “I've been looking all over for you. Weren't you going to the restroom?" A smirk played
Ava's POV “Ava?" She called and I paused, my eyes widening. I knew this was bound to happen one day, that I would eventually run into members of Redveil Pack but what I didn't account for was how I would react to it. "It's really you!” She exclaimed happily and I felt my chest tightened. "I can't believe I'm seeing you again after so many months. How have you been? I mean you look good–" She continued but I still couldn't bring myself to respond to her. Elena placed her hand on my shoulder, jolting me back to the present fully. “Are you okay?" She asked and I nodded softly. “I'm fine." I turned back to look at the cheerful person in front of me. “Vera!" I finally called, and that encouraged her to step closer to me, wrapping her arms around me. “Oh my goodness!" She squealed, “I never thought I'd be seeing you anytime soon after everything that happ–” She paused, looking at Elena, who hadn't taken her eyes off me. And her presence alone was calming. Looking at V
Ava's POV It's been more than two weeks, but Dominic's words were stuck in my head and I doubt it was leaving anytime soon. “I promise you, little wolf, you're it for me and nothing, not even the moon goddess herself can take you away from me.” Just thinking about it was making my face heat up. “I'll give him that,” Rhea teased, "he does have a way with words. The moon goddess is selfish for not making him my mate.” She said, and I couldn't agree more. The past few days have been pure bliss. Dominic, although he was busy, still found time to spend with me, making sure I wasn't bored. He also showed me around the Pack, because according to him, I needed to get familiar with my future Pack members to avoid getting lost within the pack. Now, when I looked at him, instead of seeing the feared Alpha, I saw the man who promised me the world and even though he might end up finding his real mate…who I was already jealous of, and decided he wanted her, it wouldn't come as a sh
Ava's POV “I'm a crazy woman, who needs urgent help!" I groaned, covering my face with my hand. “Who the hell gets jealous over their mates sister…step sister but who cares?" Rhea chuckled, “I wonder how it still surprises you that you're a crazy woman." She said. The girls waited for me t
Ava's POV I threw myself on the couch in the nursery between the girls who both looked like they equally woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Isla, who usually had something to say, was quiet and Valerie looked like she was in a daze. “Why do you guys look like you've seen a ghost?” I asked,
Dominic's POV "I want to shower.” I paused, turning to look at her. She was going to be the death of me and there was no denying it. And without saying anything, I went to the bathroom to run a bath for her and once I was done, I came back to the room where Ava was standing in the middle of
Ava's POV I didn't know how right Rhea was until I woke up the next morning and I was alone in bed…which wasn't a new thing since I understood how busy Dominic was, especially with the new project he was handling while still running the Pack. But for whatever reason, it felt different this
