Chapter 11

Sinclair's pov

I hear the door of my office creak open, hearing Amelia's voice as she walks through the door my eyes are wide open hoping she didn't hear our conversation.

I glance at Adonis quickly stuttering before returning my eyes back to Amelia.

“Amelia uhh” I was interrupted by Adonis who I could see a drop of sweat roll from his face.

“Uh uh nothing, we were discussing on how Sinclair here,” Adonis describes pointing towards me “was planning on taking you on a date.”

She stared at me, making me plant my knuckles on my desk squeezing them with a small grin at the corners of my mouth before adjusting my collar.

“Yes,” I say confidently “I was planning on taking you out with everything that's been going on I just need a break from things” sheepishly smiling at her hoping she hadn't heard what we spoke about.

She stood there a few seconds putting one hand on her waist just staring at me and Adonis before saying “sure!” But it's getting late though.
