I had been watching her. Every move, every stop, every heartbeat.

The spy laid on the floor. He was pinned beneath her strength. I didn't think it was possible for someone her age.

Someone that is a Luna, at least I thought she was a Luna.

The moonlight was over her. It clung to her. Her pale skin becomes more visible under the light or the moon.

The glow, it wasn't natural.

A spy couldn't get inside my territory without me noticing something was wrong.

I didn't know what Dane was planning.

  • Rejected by the Alpha   Chapter 17- Roslyn's POV

The forest felt different here, not safer… just quieter. I stood by the balcony resting on the railing looking far into the forest.“Mi lady, Luciano asked if you could join him for breakfast. He was hoping you two could walk the grounds together when you were done” a slightly cheerful maid approached. No one smiled in The Night fang pack, they did smile but only when I faced torment and despair. “Okay, will you be taking me there?” I asked.“Ohh yes, I’ll be your lady in waiting throughout our stay here, just call if you need anything. I’m Miranda by the way” she said.“Cheerful and talkative, this place is unsettling” I said to myself. “I’m Roslyn, can we go now”. “Yes mi lady, this way”.This was the first time I left my room since the spy came to this place. After news spread that I took down the spy, it was slightly warmer compared to when I first came.It always felt cold and distant here.Like they were always waiting for disaster to strike.“Mi lady, we are here.” Miranda

  • Rejected by the Alpha   Chapter 16- Luciano's POV

The study was quiet as usual. Dust on some book and only removed by occasionally sweeps of my hand across the desk.I sat back, staring at a book in front of me. My mind wasn't on the pages but on Roslyn. The power she possessed, the fight, the vision, and the power she possessed. That's if I was right. All these extreme powers didn't just come with being royal blood. It's more than a Royal blood can handle. Her lineage was not ordinary. I had sensed it the moment I first met her, but after her vision, after the fight, I could no longer ignore it. There was something ancient about her. Her blood. I had read something similar to this before. But I couldn't quite remember it.Something dangerous and powerful.I flipped the page of the book absently, my thoughts drifting away.Memories from my last life surfaced, fragments I had long buried.I remembered the rooftops of a city that was long gone now. Wolves had moved below, fighting among themselves, and I had watched, thinking I could

  • Rejected by the Alpha   Chapter 15- Roslyn's POV

It was a faint ringing in my ear at first and then my vision became blank. White. The food, the candle, Luciano face. It all disappeared. My body sat at the dinning table, but my mind was elsewhere.I felt like something was coming but it wasn't something I could move my body away from. I couldn't escape it.I didn't know where I was.I was no longer by the table. I was standing on a hill.Wolves were howling from a distance. The sky colour was red. It was chaotic like the wold was on fire. The sky was bleeding. In the valley below, there was an ongoing battle. Wolves clashed, humans fought, and chaos in was brought upon the world.I never thought that for any reason there would be fight involving humans and wolves.I could feel fear from those below me. I was near where close to them but I could see it all. That was the distance my vision allowed me to keep. There were wolves and humans on the valley. But one figure stood out.Dane.He moved through the battlefield like a shadow, l

She lunched before I could step him.It looked interesting and I had a feeling she had it in her.I stayed around just in case she needed me but I guess she didn't.I had seen warriors before. I had trained soldiers, assassins, packs of wolves under my command. But this… this was different. This was something confusing.Having Royal blood wasn't e

  • Rejected by the Alpha   Chapter 13- Roslyn's POV

My wolf screamed inside me. Survival instinct came in hot. My reflex took over. I moved before I thought. My hand shot back barely escaping the slash.I felt pain through my forearm. “Not… bad,” he hissed, eyes wide with surprise. “You’re faster than”“Shut up!” I snapped. My senses were heightened. The scent of his sweat, the tension in his muscles, the sound of hisheartbeat. I could see every thing before it happened. He lunged again, his claws aimed for my side. I dodged, twisting midair.“You’re going to regret this,” he spat, voice shaking just enough to know they he was panicking.“You’re the one who should be afraid,” I said, stepping closer, my eyes locked on his. He came again, but this time, wildly. I blocked with my forearm, and the impact sent a jolt of power through me. My wolf growled. My hands began to tingle, my nails hardened slightly just enough to make him flinch.“You’re” he started, then stumbled back, surprise written all over his face. “What are you?”I did

  • Rejected by the Alpha   Chapter 12- Roslyn's POV

I saw him. I figure moving along the edge of the walls of the training ground. He laid low trying to blend low with the darkness. He was doing a great job blending in but I could see him. Perfectly in fact. His steps were trained and precise. He didn't look or move like a thief. He looked like he knew what he was doing. He was probably a spy.He didn't look like he had an exact destination. He had just been going back and forth looking into each window that had rooms. With each look, he moved to the next like he was looking for an exact thing.I had a feeling that he was looking for me. With the sudden message that he got from Dane earlier. It was too much of a coincidence.I pressed myself against the wall, letting the darkness hide me. I didn't think so. I proceeded to act.My feet barely made any sound as I loved quietly and stylishly towards him.I leapt, letting my wolf guide my movements. I landed one feet away from him.I didn't know how I suddenly had a gush of courage but I
