Chapter 25

It felt like the air had frozen as they all stared at Dean's imposing figure which stood by the doorway. Moving to the end of the bed Cabrera and Solution hid behind Avery so as to hide themselves from his line of sight.

“What are you two doing here”? Dean asked, facing the both of them. “Don't you have other work to do”?

“They're my attendants Dean so my needs are above whatever work they are supposed to be doing.” Avery replied. “Or do you think my attendants should leave me to do other stuff”? She asked.

“Hhmmm, I guess you're right.” Dean replied with a nod of his head. “But they both need to leave now”. He added.

“Why”? Avery asked in alarm. “They're my attendants after all so shouldn't they be with me”? She asked

“That would be the case but I need to talk to you alone so they have to leave”. Dean replied coldly.

Cabrera and Solution turned to stare at Avery, concern visible on both their faces.

“I will be fine”. Avery reassured them, while holding their arms.
